Gardner Design & Drafting

We went to Gardner Design and Drafting with a basic idea for our house renovation. They listened to all our ideas and quickly developed a great final design that we absolutely loved and was accepted by council (and our neighbours) first go. Designs were great and technical knowledge equally impressive. Dealing with them has been effortless and professional. Great company, I would highly recommend them.

We bought our first house which required quite substantial renovations, from knocking down walls to building a new staircase.My wife and I were totally new to it and GDD have been very professional in taking us through the process effortlessly. There is truly a big advantage to have the designer and builder working together, it provided us a great level of assurance.GDD experience was beneficial to manage our expectations and provide us with alterative options when needed.

We could not be happier with our choice to use Gardner D&D for our new granny flat.Initially the design team did a great job of refining our original design to improve liveability and to make the most of the space available.Now that we are nearing completion, the friendly and transparent manner in which the (quite complex) build has been managed continues to impress.Every decision is transparently tracked via their web-based project management tool, and the final project cost (and how we got there) is always available.Highly recommended.

We had strong ideas of how we wanted to renovate our investment property in Maroubra, however, we were given multiple different options by the design team at Gardner that made us re-think. The final option we chose has us very excited. Approachable and very professional, we will be using them again and highly recommend.

Sarah is amazing when it comes to design. Sarah completely transformed our house with the layout and made our house functional again. We were very lucky to have Sarah throughout the renovation and would highly recommend her to others who are looking for help to solve layout/design problems.

We had a good idea of what we wanted but even so there were a lot of decisions to be made with challenges and complexities as a result of easements on our property. The team was very creative and helpful and offered practical advice to help us get what we wanted and our DA drafted. I want to thank them for their patience and professionalism as we went back with change after change. I'm hoping that our DA will get through shortly.

When embarking on the idea of a 1st floor extension I struggled to find someone reputable who covered both the design and also able to facilitate constructionOwen and his teams knowledge and ability to explain the reasoning around certain design requirements as we worked through the process only further confirmed that I had found the right company for the job.They have been a pleasure to deal with and I am very much looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Excellent collaboration with design team who we found to be very in tune with our brief. Honest on feedback if our idea was not the best solution. Cannot highly recommend Owen & his team of experts enough. They are a suberbly professional & creative outfit. Nothing was too difficult for them if we raised concerns it was addressed & solutions were identified immediately.If you are thinking of renovating do yourself a favour & speak with Gardner Design & Drafting before you commit or see anyone else. We now have an amazing master suite with walk-in robe & ensuite. Not only that, we also have functional living, dining & kitchen zones. Best decision ever!!!
