Worth the drive outside of Brisbane CBD for true authentic Italian woodfire pizza, desert and amazing hospitality! They even had Menabrea Italian imported beer too! Thank you for an awesome dinner, definitely coming back on my next work trip!

Ordered a fettuccine bolognaise but received a tomato sauce fettuccine there was one tablespoon of mince at maximum, threw it in the bin.Ravioli was all cheese and dripping in white sauce very disappointing service was great, friendly staff.Food not so good.

Went with the family a week and a half ago and last night just the two of us. The five star rating is for the service and bread items. The focaccia is the best I’ve ever had and the pizzas are amazing. Didn’t like the octopus salad - would be far better for these to be marinated then served hot grilled. The risotto was acceptable but not great. Ice creams and sorbets are fantastic. Give the cannoli a miss though as they are not light and flaky enough. Nice drink selection.

This place is the real deal. I am exceptionally picky when it comes to pizza and this place has delivered like no other restaurant in Brisbane. The base is of just the right thickness and texture, a bit salty, flour on it a touch burnt by the flame in the oven. Mamma Mia pizza is a toping delight brought together by aroma of truffle oil. I'll be back!

We got a prosciutto pizza and a pesto gnocchi. The pizza was pretty good. My boyfriend worked as a chef for 9 years and approved of the pizza. Unfortunately, the pesto gnocchi was terrible. Swimming in oil, we drained off roughly 50ml off the top of the dish. The gnocchi themselves were chewy and obviously from a packet, not made in house. And overall the sauce was a bit tart and badly seasoned, it desperately needed salt. For 36 dollars you'd expect fresh made gnocchi and for more care to be taken while preparing it.

Excellent quality ingredients, amazing pizza base and genuine service. Rose was wonderful. Gumdale is lucky to have this type of cuisine. Will definitely return. Whoever runs/owns this place knows European food.

Went there last night and had a great experience. The wait staff were lovely and even though it was quite busy our food didn't take long to come out and was delicious. Would definately come back.

Fantastic dine in experience. We ordered 2 entrees and 2 pizzas to share between 3 people and we left stuffed with three pieces of pizza to take home with us. We visited on a Sunday and as dine in patrons they offer a great deal on the wood fire pizzas - Sundays only. The service was great, the food was amazing and we have already declared that we will be back to try the whole menu. This Italian restaurant is comparable to 1889 Enoteca (Woolloongabba) and Julius Pizzaria (Fish Lane) 100% worth the trip to Gumdale.
