A glimpse into the world of pottery with kilns dating back to the 1890' s. You can sit on risers and watch experienced hands 'throw' clay. There are several artists' areas, and a huge antique area filled with 'treasure'. Come early to have enough time to wander

First time I have ever visited, my Dad was a Potter there in the '80s, was really awesome to see how big and solid this place was. Plus the fact that it is still operational and sells really high quality ceramics.

Such a wonderful place. We had to control ourselves in not buying everything in the shop. Very friendly staff.

Never knew about this place and a local from a cafe mentioned it to me and I’m glad she did. It’s a great place! The pottery is amazing and it was so beautiful to be able to walk around the old kilns that once worked. There is also a little cafe and other little artist studios that you can visit when they are open. Really sweet place to visit just a 9mins drive out of Bendigo. Well worth it.

Bendigo Pottery is a must see place if you visiting.I loved this place, with so much to offer including museum display, shop, an eatery ... Then go and discover the secondhand/antiques Emporium. These Kilns are still in use producing lovely pottery still sold and very much in demand.Thoughly enjoyed looking at the old kilns .So much to see, infact we sent a weekend. I very much look forward to my next visit.

Didn't go into the museum section, but it looked interesting. The pottery for sale is displayed against some of the disused bottle kilns. On previous visits, we've painted a plate and learned to throw a bowl on the wheel. The antique shops and artist studios can easily fill a half or full day visit if you're so inclined (we are...).To top it off, good coffee and excellent scones in the cafe :-)

Bendigo Pottery is a must see if you are interested in the history of Victoria. To say its astonishing is an understatement. I was introduced to their wares many years ago, but to see where they were made is a different thing altogether. But the great aspect is, its a living museum, as Bendigo Pottery still is in operation - but not using the old kilns.A bonus is the antique shop, where there are over 40 market stalls with gorgeous antiques. On top of that is a cafe as well, with fair prices.Access is easy, and wheelchair friendly.Parking limited.

Lots of history and local charm. Went on a cold & wet weekend, but it didn't spoil the experience. Easy self guided tour where you can see the original kilns and way the pottery worked, in days gone by and a lovely large undercover shop featuring an assortment of ceramic pieces made on premises. Great for self or as gifts. There is a cafe on site, ample parking, opportunities to do workshops if you have time and some other local artisan shops on site. Not far from central Bendigo. Do yourself a favour & make time to visit. Enjoy.
