Maz gave me an awesome fresh cut that I am stoked with! He treated me like an old friend and really took care of me. I have felt that salons can often feel a bit intimidating, but Ziyad has loads of natural light, all the staff are very welcome and they even have a resident dog. Would highly recommend

Ziyad is the best in the game. I’ve been to lots of hairdressers and no one comes close to Ziyad, there’s a subtly to his styling that always makes me look my best. He’s also a master at curly hair. I’ve had others that specialise in curly hair, but again, it was only after seeing him that I felt like someone truly knew what they were doing.

I had the most incredible experience at Ziyad Salon from start to finish. Ziyad made sure I felt like an absolute queen the entire time. He took the time to understand my hair concerns and my desired look before proceeding with my haircut and ensured to recommended the correct products for my hair needs. I was so happy with the end result and left feeling fabulous.

I've been going on and off since I moved northside, so like maybe 6 years? Whilst some faces have changed what continues is the friendly, stylish and unpretentious vibe.Recently I received a stellar cut from stylist Anthony who was very warm and welcoming and not put off by my poor description of what I wanted, as I am terrible at talking hair.Also Darick the Master colourist gave me a gorgeous natural little colour boost, working with and not against my greys and I love it.I left both appointments feeling great!Very much appreciate Ziyad Salon taking up space in Northcote all these years.Well done Ziyad and team, see you soon.

Found my new local hairdresser, very professional! The salon is bright and inviting. High quality haircuts the staff take their time and don’t rush you out like other salons. My hair cuts are always fantastic and I leave feeling fresh, high recommend.

I can not speak highly enough of Ziyad & his Team!! The atmosphere alone blows you away, how friendly and attentive everyone is and how they all work like a Family.I was lucky to have Angela work on my hair... And what an Amazing job she did, walked in looking like a mess and a little embarrassed. However Angela made me feel welcomed and explained everything including care after. I couldn't believe the transformation she achieved. Walked out feeling like a new person & was stoked to tell friends and family where I had been.Love this place, thank you so much and see you guys soon.:) Tat

This salon is excellent. I recently had my hair cut by Maria and it was the most positive experience I have had at a salon. Very kind, genuine, listened to me and didn't rush. I would really recommend booking in with her or one of the team.

Really disappointed with my haircut, I just went home and cried. Perhaps I wasn’t clear enough but I asked for a trim and for shoulder length hair. Instead I got a massive cut back and hair 5 cm above my shoulders. By the time I realized just how much was getting cut off it was too late. The hair will grow back, but for now I’m left with a blunt bob cut that is reminiscent of my hair from when I was 5 years old.
