Cradle Mountain Coaches
As far as I know, the only shuttle service that connects the end of the Overlandtrack at Lake St. Clair back to Cradle Mountain as a DIRECT Service , so without time consuming stop-overs in Hobart or Launceston. Traveltime therefore only 2.5h!On demand the driver is flexible enough, if you need a coffee or toilet-stop.I'd give a 5-star rating, if it was not so expensive: $400 for 2 personsThe Coach takes up to 9 people and luggage, so if you are capable to find co-travellers, you can safe money by deviding the $400 / number of travellers and than it is even the cheapest travel alternative from and to Cradle :)

Great service from Terry and Helen. They both went out of their way to accommodate our needs - stopped at Deloraine bakery and ATM, provided fuel for the jet boil and changed pick up dates after we finished our walk early.

1 star is to good. Had one of these small coaches tail gating. I was doing speed limit of 100 km. Sped pass and out of site in sceonds. 120 - 130 km if not more.

We had one really good driver and one very bad. Worst of all was the constant attempt by staff and management to get more money, just like the third world tourist fleecing that takes place.

Fantastic service from Ian and the team at Cradle Mountain Coaches. The bus was on time for both our transfers, the price was reasonable , and we felt safe and at ease with Ian behind the wheel. We had extra time to kill on our return trip to Launceston, so Ian took us on an alternate route and showed us a few gems we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. He also suggested a number of sites to add to our itinerary. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring each and every one of Ian’s suggestions.Highly recommend Cradle Mountain Coaches!
