Piggery Cafe
Good coffee. Nice place to relax and chill. But for a place this big and heavily patronized, surely they can use better ingredients for the food.Cute animals and relaxing outdoors!

A nice place for a cafe, that's a lawn bowling area and kids play area too. However the food is not up to expectations. The pork belly was so dried and hard as well as the lamb shoulder. Only the fried chicken is nice.Long queue before our turn. Would prefer outdoor than indoor.

We visited here before going to the Rone exhibition as it is in the same place. The cafe serves some great food and has some great surroundings. We ordered the platter (can't remember what it was called) and the assortment of meats were super tasty with the highlights being the chicken wings and the pork. The sauce it came with was super delicious as well. Its comes with chips and plate which has coleslaw, salad and a few other bits on it as well. The service at the counter was a bit slow but the food and venue were really great. If its a cold day, keep in mind that the inside isn't super warm so wrap up! It looks like they are opening a bar, restaurant and hotel at some stage which will be exciting. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Very tasty food with excellent and approachable service in chilled out, beautiful surroundings. Great place for a short gastronomic day trip. It looks like they are going to turn this place into an institution with several different food and beverage offerings on-site.

It’s a bakery, cafe and restaurant located in a farm. It’s well designed and you can get the country vibe which is the best thing about this place. The food is disappointing though and a bit pricy for the portion and quality. We’ve been there on a weekend and the food didn’t worth the wait.

It’s a shame to see a previously exciting venue fall on hard times, but here we are.I am writing this review in the queue, where I have been waiting for 30 minutes to order a coffee and a bottle of water. In past visits, the Piggery Cafe has been very busy, yet we were promptly served or able to get takeaway pretty quickly. But since the switch to takeaway only (and new ownership?), things seem to have gone downhill.I feel for the two poor staff members (one taking orders, the other making coffees) for having to deal with the brunt of unhappy customers. We all know the pandemic has hit hospitality hard and I hope the Piggery Cafe is able to bounce back in 2021...but in its current state, I won’t be coming back.

We had our post wedding breakfast there. It was 10/10 . Family that came from overseas often ask us to take them back there when they revisit Melbourne. Food was amazing venue was perfect. So relaxing.

The food was excellent but the coffees didn't keep the same quality. The service was very kind, efficient and it was highlighted by the beautiful view.

This place is nice for a visit although it feels like COVID has taken its toll. Unfortunately the chefs had supposedly left which was a shame, as there were limited options for food. Sandwich and sausage rolls were okay. Hopefully they get back to full capabilities in the coming months.Staff were pleasant nonetheless and the grounds were quite nice. Very pleasant to take the dog for a brief walk, adjacent to the Alfred Nicholas Gardens.
