I took my car to Belmont Automotive today as a family membersaid they was great .On arrive with my car I found the staff wonderful a young lady greeted me and was very helpful . Made me fill that may car was in very safe hands , when picking my car up after it was finished the staff was all so great explaned to me what they had done in away I could under stand , the staff where great and what work that was done to my car was out standing . Would like to thank all of staff at Belmont Automotive for their work . I will be back Thank you so much

I have been a ccustomer for more than 30 years. It is sad to see someone who is not even a customer write such a negative comment about a first class service centre. I consider myself a friend of the former and of the present owners of the business. Thank you Les and Sheryl for the servcie in the past and Brent, Mick , Kylie and apprentice ( sorry - I forget your name) for the present servce - all great and commendable. In response to Chantelle, extremely disappointed you have left this review when you seem to be a little confused. Never did we say, nor is it on your invoice stating that your drive belt was replaced during your service. You were not charged for a drive belt nor were you charged any labour for a belt replacement, so I simply do not understand what you are saying. When you came in the second time I showed you the belt in question (while you were still there) and pointed out that there were no obvious signs of excessive wear to the belt, there were zero cracks (which is why your belt was not replaced), there was no reason the belt did what it did.I run an honest business and we take customers satisfaction very seriously, if we were at fault, I would have not hesitated in repairing your car at no cost.I wish you had called me first so I could have cleared this up, before you left this review which was unfair and could possibly be damaging to this business.Belmont Automotive Service CentreIn response to Sam Smith, I am the owner/manager of Belmont Automotive Service Centre and have at no stage received a complaint from one of our customers advising us about damage to their console or cigarette burns in their seat. Small local family business that has been operating for over 25 years in this location (no glitz and glamour like a dealership, but no over priced work either). They have been servicing my car for the last 3 years and it run's and looks brand new. I have recommended this business to all my friends and family and they can't thank me enough. Honest, friendly, knowledgeable staffing that make sure all customers are looked after.

I brought my car in 3 weeks ago for a service and inspection. I was told everything was great....three weeks later my car plays up and I bring it back. My alternator belt was ripped into strings (also was a brand new belt that THEY put on)I then get charged for another new belt and their labour.Won't be back at all.

I needed a blue slip for my boat trailer. These guys were great in helping me out and getting things sorted out at short notice. Definitely recommended.

Good, honest service with reasonable pricing. Brent was transparent and accommodated all my requests with a tailored service. There weren't any surprise" costs on the invoice - something I really appreciate. My car runs smooth and feels well looked after. I shall return to this workshop at the next service.
