Kids Club Child Care Bulleen Centre

I am compelled to share my profoundly disappointing experience after 6 months working as a former teacher at Kids Club Bulleen. While the children were undeniably adorable and most of my colleagues were friendly, the centre's management, particularly the director, left a lot to be desired. The dismal handling of staff-related issues made working there an unbearable ordeal.One of the most distressing aspects of my time at Kids Club was the director's blatant exclusion and consistent refusal to acknowledge my presence. It became an excruciating routine for me to be ignored by the very person who was supposed to lead and support the staff. Days went by without even a passing glance or a simple greeting. This persistent disregard made me feel invisible and undermined my confidence in the workplace.It is deeply unsettling when the individual responsible for managing the centre actively chooses to isolate an employee. The director's behaviour r created an uncomfortable atmosphere that impacted my ability to carry out my duties effectively. As a professional educator, I believe in fostering a nurturing environment, but this experience undermined my passion for teaching and left me demoralised.Regrettably, I discovered that I was not the only staff member affected by this poor management. The center experienced an alarming turnover rate, with numerous teachers resigning due to their unwillingness to endure such a toxic work environment. The director's failure to address these issues and retain staff members speaks volumes about their lack of leadership skills and inability to create a supportive team.Despite the challenges with management, I must emphasise the positive interactions I had with my coworkers. Many of them were kind, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to providing quality care for the children. It is a testament to their resilience and professionalism that they managed to maintain a pleasant atmosphere amidst the chaotic management style.In conclusion, while the children were undeniably beautiful and most of my coworkers were remarkable individuals, the overall management of the centre left an indelible negative impression on my teaching career. The director's exclusionary behaviour r and inability to maintain a cohesive team ultimately led to a toxic work environment and a revolving door of staff members. It is disheartening to witness the deterioration of a potentially exceptional childcare centre due to abysmal management practices.

My daughter Mia went here briefly before we moved homes. Centre manager Nicole and staff were all lovely and I would consider sending my children here again one day. Please note if you do send your child here and needed to move them depending on the time of the year you may need to give a full 8 weeks notice in advance

As a parent, I would like to share my experience and review of this center, particularly in relation to their employees and management. My son was under the care of this center, specifically in the baby's room, for a duration of four months. The two ladies, Neda and Ling, who were responsible for this room, were truly wonderful and showed great care and kindness.However, I must express my disappointment with the management of the center. Their behavior was highly irresponsible, unprofessional, and displayed a lack of concern. This not only impacted my son's experience but also affected my wife, who worked at the center for nearly five months. She had a similarly poor experience due to confrontational and inadequate management, as well as a lack of honesty and transparency.I genuinely feel compelled to advise parents who are seeking a nurturing and genuinely educational environment for their children to avoid this center, at least until there are changes in the current management.

Nicole and Belinda lead an excellent team of educators at Kids Club Bulleen. We're really pleased we decided to send our son Harry here this year.

My child loves Kids Club Bulleen, it's his second home. Early in the year I had switched childcares for convenience with work, it was clear he was missing Kids Club Bulleen. With the support of teaching staff and admin, transitioning back was seamless. Learning space is great and educators prepare lessons to cater for all learning needs. High recommended for preparing children for primary school.

I am completely unimpressed with the lack of care and duty towards my son attending kids club. I am concerned about the lack of staff when it is inevitable that kids may be injured resulting of lack of supervision after observing this on many occasions and even when family members dropped my son off and picked him up it was prevalent of complete unsupervised and unmonitored chaos and children being aggressive towards my son without any disciplinary action taken; furthermore my son saturated in water , not changed on a cold day - not a hot mid summer day for three days straight - not changed even though plenty of clothing was supplied he was sick thereafter - and the excuse was he likes to play with water- .and my son crying not wanting to attend anymore- need I go on.High expectations on what was advertised and completely underwhelmed.

If you’re lucky enough to be offered a place at Kids Club Bulleen, take it! My daughter started when she was 5 months old and has been attending for almost a year now.I toured a lot of centres before choosing Kids Club and as soon as I stepped in the door I knew that I’d found somewhere special. I could tell by the interactions between the educators and children that there was so much mutual respect and love.What sets this centre apart is the dedication of the management and lead educators to provide exceptional care and an exciting environment and programmes that support the children’s growth and development.There’s a structure and daily routine that is great for the kids but no 2 days are the same. I’m constantly amazed at how hard the centre directors and educators work to facilitate so many great activities and experiences (such as music classes twice a week).I also love that they celebrate so many cultures and many educators are multilingual so the children benefit from exposure to conversations, songs and stories in many different languages.The centre holds regular events, parent evenings and opportunities for families to meet and create strong connections and a sense of community.Even though it’s not the closest to where we live it’s worth the extra commute for my daughter to get such a fantastic childcare experience. The educators at Kids Club are amazing, with some going beyond their roles to ensure the kids feel loved and safe. Special shout out to Nicole, Belinda and the Rainforest team (Keiko, Kulwinder, Belinda, Karen, Marlo, Ling and many more!) for creating a happy environment for my daughter. Activities are well thought out and creative for the kids and the menu is delicious. My daughter had been to a few centres before and this one is the happiest she's been.The childcare industry has been going through a rough patch recently with wage issues and staff leaving in many centres - so thank you for going above and beyond.

My family had a negative experience with this childcare facility, particularly with the manager. I strongly believe that poor management has led to numerous problems within the center. As parents, we entrust our children to this childcare, and when the manager lacks the necessary skills to effectively oversee the center, it hinders the ability of other staff members to properly care for our children.I want to emphasize that my intention with this review is not to bring about any negative consequences for the company. However, as long as this individual remains in their current position, I believe that this center will not be a suitable place for our children.

I went to the orientation with my 9 months old, just wanted to say wow what a fantastic team they have. The carers are so lovely and so the center director Nicole, she was such a gem. My daughter really liked the baby's room and all the beautiful surroundings you can really feel the warmth and love from the staff. Thank you, Nicole and team for the wonderful orientation. :)
