Wombat warrens not active...see more on the side of the road getting there...nearly all info signs have nothing on them.

Moorunde Wildlife Reserve
A beautiful place and a magnificent initiative. We arrived at around 8:00am as it took us much longer than expected driving on a dirt road for around 20 minutes four wheel drive are advised although you can also reach the area on a regular car if you drive very slowly. We saw plenty of evidence of wombats with the iconic cubical pooh piling up around the multiple dens. We were not able to spot any individual but we completely loved the nature trail all the same.
