WOW the Fish bites just restored my faith in fish n chips in Aussi. Being a KIWI living in Aussi I have found fish n chips very different to back in NZ. I find Aussi fish too strong and the batter too thick. Well I’m sold on this shop and will be back as the Kiwi behind the counter knows her stuff when it comes to beautiful white nonFishy fish and crunchy golden batter.Thanks KIWIS, you made my day.P.S The cost was also beyond belief, sooo cheap for the huge amount we got. Highly recommend.

Happy to take order over the phone with 30min to closing time. Chips, battered hoki, crab sticks and battered cinnamon pineapple rings. For two adults. Friendly approachable service at the counter. Reasonable prices and delicious taste. Will come back again

If you want awesome fish and chips and great service, come here. I have never been disappointed by The Hangi Pit, Springfield. We drive 25mins from Brassall when we want fish and chips! Well worth the drive for excellent food.
