The haircut I had was great but the colour was completely wrong. I went in wanting to go very blonde and came out darker than when I went in. I think they used too much toner. Really disappointed because the rest of the experience was good.

Great cuts colouring and care. I have difficult hair to work with. Have only ever found 3 who can handle same and this is the best of them. Very pleasant owner and staff.

REVIEW TO WIN ENTRY PENDING MODERATIONDo not go to this salon. I have NEVER had such a bad experience with my hair before this. I asked for a full-head of highlights. It's a simple thing - I have it done often. It took a long time. Then, they applied a toner that turned my hair a DULL-GREEN colour! And the stylist got nervous, but told me it was ok! IT WAS TERRIBLE. I was so incredibly upset BUT - I remained calm, explained sweetly that it wasn't quite what I was expecting. They washed my hair several times to remove the toner which lessened the problem (admittedly the highlights were done proficiently - just very slowly). Anyway, I was then very much made to feel that the stress and complaining (very nicely and relaxedly I may add) was my problem, and that they were just wanting me happy before I left. It took ALL DAY (I missed another appointment) and then she charged me $300!!!! I was so very upset but I didn't complain further because I just wanted to get out of there! They damaged my hair and I had to pay $300. I want my money back! The worst hair experience I have ever had. Terrible. I really pity and want to warn other customers who might go here and then walk out with sub-par hair, being told it is ok. My hair looked terrible - why should I pay to have my hair damaged and made to look worse?! There is a subtlety to blonde highlights and colouring, and if they can't do it, they shouldn't charge premium prices. If you want crazy colours, go to this salon, but if you want simple, subtle, professional finish, save your money and go elsewhere.

I liked the cut, I got what I had asked for but the overall experience was a little underwhelming.For the price I expected better service. Everything felt a bit rushed (they did seem shorthanded) and I ended up with hair down the front of my clothes. Not the relaxing salon experience that I had hoped for. Staff were friendly though.

Lily is not your average hairdresser. She is nothing short of an artist. Lily and her team have helped me to achieve my hair goals. I came to Armandi with my hair damaged from years of straightening and regular dyeing. Lily helped my fragile hair become natural, curly and low maintenance. I've been going to Armandi for over 6 months now and I refuse to go anywhere else. Even after moving 1 & 1/2 hours away I will still make the trip to see her. 10/10 would recommend this incredible team to anyone who seriously cares about their hair.
