Bart is an exceptional guide who is so knowledgeable and generous with sharing information about the area. The mangrove experience was our highlight of our holiday in Broome.

We had an afternoon with Bart Pigram and it was fantastic!! His Yawuru cultural knowledge of Broome and surrounds was great and the stories of the Dreaming along the coast were so special. He gives a true account of local history and adapts to the audience that he is with. I highly recommend Bart to anyone looking for a tailored, authentic and down to earth tour of Broome and near surrounds :)

Narlijia Experiences is an authentic, engaging, Indigenous run company (amazing!!) Bart was a wealth of local knowledge - past and present - and showed us parts of Broome which I wouldn't have known to go see otherwise. Absolutely loved it, was well worth the tour.

If you only do one tour in Broome you must go out with Bart and Eric their knowledge and connection to country is amazing. You come away with a great deal of knowledge and the thirst to know more. Our stairway to the moon evening was the highlight of our holiday and I would do any tour with them in a heartbeat.

We had a really interesting and lovely Stairway to the Moon experience with Bart, his three lovely kids and his sister Naomi.We had not expected walking out across the mangroves to an island.I can totally recommend for the professionalism and friendliness.

Bart is an exceptional guide sharing the love for his country in Broome, WA. We initially booked the wrong date (our mistake) and he rebooked us to the Mangrove tour to accommodate our timetable. We learned about the Mangrove area and the significance of it in both a historical and cultural context. There was something very special about traversing the sludgy mud in wetty boots hearing the crunch underfoot, the birds twilight chorus, foraging for food and ending the tour over a fire with fresh foraged goods cooked over the coals. It was a meaningful experience leaving us with a grounded sense of place and purpose. If you only do one tour in Broome, choose one of the Narlijia's offerings, it's stellar.

What an experience! In the local Yawuru language ‘Narlijia’, means ‘True for you’ and this certainly was a truly incredible journey. Meeting the guide Bart was remarkable and I loved how the first thing we did in Broome was one of his tours because from then on, everywhere I went was seen through a different lens. Sampling the finest bush cuisine, picked fresh from the bushes to cracking open an Oyster. The entire trip was truly remarkable. I had such an an incredible experience that I wanted to go on a binge of all the different tours available. Truly remarkable!
