We searched for best vanilla slice in Sydney and this place popped up. Was a quite lovely slice with a sliver of Jam under the custard. The cinnamon roll was also lovely. Highlight were the milkshakes which were made from great ingredients. A+

We went there for lunch. There were 4 of us.If you are short on time this place is not for you. It is quite a popular place and waiting for a table, I think there are about 5 of them, or waiting for take away there is almost always a lengthy wait time. The sandwich style food is good, tasty and generous in servings. We have been there a number of times and it does not disappoint. There is something on offer to suit just about anyone.if you happen to still have the room after eating there are beautiful pastries cakes, which are quite decadent and scrumptious. We got 4 of them and took the back to eat later.Unfortunately I didn't get photos of the individual ones we got but there was a beautiful Tiramisu Carrot Cake slice, Thor & cheesy scroll. They were greatInside SAGA sound tends to amplify & it can get very noisy making conversation a little difficult.Great place for food.

I'm big on savoury: the pastries, toasties and bagels are out of this world. Coffee is great too. The ham cheese tart (pictured) is quite possibly the best savoury tart I've had. Great bakery, always inventing

Saga has been on my must-visit list for ages, but it’s unfortunate that I could only make it during their final week of operation. Despite that, the pastries lived up to their enticing appearance and the numerous positive reviews and recommendations. Finally, I had the chance to visit Saga last Sunday.I made sure to arrive as early as possible, but due to the overwhelming popularity of the place, half of the items on the menu were already sold out. I completely understand why they’re so busy though, as the place is truly awesome. The sandwiches they serve are fantastic, with great flavors and generous portions. We tried the brekkie sanga without bacon, and it was incredibly delicious. The hashbrown had a perfect crispy crunch, and the barbecue sauce elevated the entire experience.Saga offers something to suit everyone’s taste. Their beautiful patisserie, and cakes are decadent and scrumptious. It’s remarkable to see such high-quality food and pastries coming out of Saga. For dessert, the banana cream pie is my ultimate choice. I enjoyed it with a dollop of whipped cream. The tomato tart and pest scroll are also worth mentioning they were amazingReally sad these guys are closing down but wishing them all the best

Last day visit...I guess that as a review this doesn't make much of a difference but consider it just a big thankyou for lifting the pastry and cake scene in Sydney to the next level. We will miss you guys. If you ever visit the south of Spain, hit me and I will be glad to spice up choir culinary mustgo list.

So glad I trekked all the way out to Enmore! I got a bunch of take away pastries: the Upside down peach cake (amazing), Apple strudel(good), Banana cream pie(amazing), Coffee puff (my favourite!), Onion tart (amazing), Vanilla Slice (amazing), Honey tart (good, a bit too sweet for me), Carrot Cake (good). Good serving size. Service was friendly and prompt. So many of these hot" pastry places don't live up to their reputation/underwhelms

Friendly service and clean surroundings. Lots of varieties with sandwiches and desserts. The coffee puff was delicious. The banana cake was dry probably because it was left out on the counter uncovered. It didn’t have any rich banana taste as you’ll find with the usual banana loafs, but it’s not sweet. The chicken sandwich was tasty and delicious

Heard lots of positive comments about Saga, so have always been keen to try it out. Downside is the wait time for a table (and food). It took 40 minutes to finally grab a table inside, but I will say it is worth the wait. The sandwiches are huge and packed to the brim with quality ingredients. The Vanilla Malt Thickshake is also very good.

Saga sandwiches are serious business. They are on the pricier side at $17-18 however they stack them with ingredients so I don't mind paying the premium. I tried the chicken schnitzel which was a whole breast, really well cooked and a tasty melted cheese on top. The spicy salami toastie was also really good, it had honey drizzled over the top which made it really sticky and I'm not a fan of sweet sandwiches. I will probably get no honey next time.
