Carpet Call Springvale

Recently my Mother of 85 years wanted to have her home renovated. We decided to go to Carpet Call initially to just look at what they had on offer regarding their Floor Boards. A few hours later, we had walked out, not only buying Floor Boards, but carpets, and blinds.The sales man Eric for the floor boards was very through however, for future reference, when you are dealing with an older person, it would be advisable to make sure they understand very clearly what is included and what is not. The contractors that laid the floor boards were wonderful and Alex from Carpet Call was generous enough to absorb the fee as some furniture needed to be moved. The Carpets again were laid well and the contractors did a wonderful job. This time some more furniture needed to be moved and we did have some resistance from the manger however, Alex came to the rescue again and absorbed the $40 payment. Last but not least the Blinds. Degan, thank you for ensuring the contractors who hung the blinds did show up as agreed and they did a great job and thank you for wishing my mother for her 85th birthday as her house looks fantastic and you have made a old girl smile. It was a very good and positive experience buying a new rug for my lounge. I have a round shape lounge which was hard to guess the perfect size for it and also I was wondering between two patterns. Nick (Nickrooz) was very kind and helpful throughout the process to accommodate and help me find my perfect rug. He offered me to take both sizes and patterns to see how look and feel in my lounge. Helped with loading and unloading them into my car ... 3 trips in total and I am very happy with what it looks and feels amazing in my new place! A few weeks ago we bought the XL rug from this store. The service was great, informative and concise. With so many rugs to choose they have a good policy where if you don't like the rug when you get it home, you can exhange it within a certain number of days. We also bought their new robot vacuum cleaner which we've now used for 3 weeks. I thought I'd wait before writing a review in case there was something to report. We cannot fault our little robotic friend. Would absolutely recommend this robot. Thanks Nik for your awesome service.

The salesman and installers were great, where we got let down was in the delay and poor communication from head office. It started off well, the laminate flooring installer came and took up all the carpet and found the floor wasn't level, which we understood would need to be leveled at our expense before the flooring went in. We agreed with the laminate flooring installer who did this on the Thursday, that we would leave the booking for the carpet installer on Friday, then he would come back that Friday afternoon and pour on the leveling compound and install the floor Saturday, which was good of him to do. That is where the problems started, expecting a call from the carpet installer between 7 & 9am on Friday morning never came, so at 10am we called the store only to be told they wouldn't be doing it today and they couldn't tell us when it was going to be done. Mind you at this stage we had totally emptied all 3 Bedrooms and had fully paid for the entire job, so had no leg to stand on. Still no word by Friday afternoon from the store, so a rang head office who just transferred me through to the store and spoke to one gentleman who could give me no answers, then finally we got a call late Friday afternoon to make a booking for Tuesday, there was nothing earlier. The laminate flooring installer came back and did the leveling and then installed the flooring Sunday morning, great we had one room back. Then the installer for the carpet came Tuesday and installed the carpet and we could finally put our house back together. It's been nearly a week now and still no word from the store to see how the job went, but I'm not surprised. My only advice is be prepared to wait and if you accept their prepayment terms, then be prepared to pay at least a week earlier, even though they said a few days. Thank goodness they have professional installers.Invoice numbers 58856 & 83879Don't let their comment fool you, they have never called me back.

We had recently bought some rugs and runner from this store. We dealt with Nick, he looked after us on price and helped us choosing the right rugs for our house.We are really happy with the service Nick provided us. I took my 82 year old mother in law to Carpet Call to look for carpet and floorboards. We were greeted by John Costa (manager) & David Han (rep). They did a fantastic job in assisting her with her choices. They were very knowledgeable and efficient. David even came out to measure up an hour later!Excellent service and great prices. We shall return for blinds.

very unprofessional and deceitful conduct. We paid deposit and paid in full and these very arrogant Carpet Call workers,managers and owners decided to cancel the job without informing us after rescheduled 3 times. We cleared our 3 rooms spent 2 days for that and sacrificed our very valuable jobs for that and they never turned up. Not organised at all. This is a very serious problem we are experiencing. We are going to take the matter to Consumer Affairs
