The self serve situation is ridiculous. Why is there not ONE staffed quick serve? It's okay to have self serve (I use it very occasionally) but it's not okay to remove all quick service checkouts to coax customers who would otherwise get served by a person to serve themselves..? Plenty of people line up at these at the other supermarkets nearby that still have them.Perhaps instead of getting a staff member to stand in the booth at the end of an aisle doing nothing to serve people with 12 items or less.And the desk should be fitted with staffed registers asap

Living on the East Coast IGA stores just don't do for me anymore, online shopping at woolies in launnie is the only way to go, goods to my car door, staff very friendly and much more variety and stock availability

Yesterday I called into the New Woolworths in central launceston where I usually shop three or four times a week and spend on average $250 a weekSo big basket of goods as always and hello only one checkout staffed no express checkouts any more and I have never seen anyone at the checkout counter so slow it was painful.Oh but if you want to do our job and checkout yourself on one of our new put people out of work checkoutsWoolworths NO Thankyou, still two full trolleys in front of me and three people behind me all frustrated and not wanting to do the checkout chick training! I gave my basket to one of the staff and walked out, drove up the road and went to Coles and if Coles decide to do the same I will shop at IGA.Central Launceston Woolies was always flat out thru the express counter, I am not checking my own goods thank you very much.No Service No Spending.Nick Jones

Having built in escalator ramps is good for using shopping trolleys, but I can see how they could easily get clogged on a busy day, however the design and layout of the supermarket is good, and it's very nice to have the carpark directly below. I'm not certain whether there are EV charging ports in the carpark, but I doubt it, and I'm hoping that there will be in the near future, perhaps like the ones at Coles Kings Meadows.

Too hard to park with 4wd. After phoning to confirm ricebran oil in stock ,( and parking km away after driving down from Scottsdale) was told on arrival that not available and staff should be more aware of stock"....really.!!! Wont be back. Suggest more staff training."

I have found the staff at the self checkout here, to be responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. All critical for an 'exit' after the chore of shopping.

No lanes open now in the evenings, only self checkout. They should at least keep one lane open for those that like to use them. Often looks and feels poorly maintained, especially up the escalator area.
