First time buying from the actual bakery.Surprised to see it more expensive than the farmers market prices by at least a dollar and up to $2.5 dearer.Doesn’t make sense. Would I drive all the way there again to pay more? Not a chance! I’ll keep going to farmers markets. In response to your response. One example of price difference is almond croissant. Fm = $6 store $7.50. Bread at FM $12 Store $13.Unless you have just randomly increased your prices just because you want to, then something is inconsistent.Now I definitely won’t bother coming to the store in Yarraville.

One of the best almond croissants I’ve had and a worthy contender for the best pastries in Melbourne.Everything about the almond croissant was heaven in a bite and more. The texture was crispy, the frangipane had a good amount of spice and nuttiness. Not as buttery and flaky as I would like but would come back for it.Got their strawberry cheesecake donut and it was mindblowing. The dough was so fluffy and the cheese would just ooze out at every bite. Could do without the excessive sugar coating since the donut filling itself was already sweet.Their fruit danishes are just as good. Reasonably priced, except their savoury reuben but I have to try before I can say any further. Been wanting to try their laminated brioche which is just a work of art.Now open at South Melbourne Market, definitely much easier to locate and try out.Food: 5/5Value: 4/5Ambience: 5/5Service: 4/5

The most amazing retail outlet for the wholesale bakery. Always a different selection of savoury and sweet pastries, using the most beautiful flavours of bush foods and flavours. most magnificent Bagette’s, pretzels and sour dough loaves

maybe their wholesale pastry is different from the ones in their shop. tried their plain croissant at a cafe in the city and it was super average, despite it looking like it would've been amazing. tasteless, dry, plain, bad texture

Decent local bakery… not mindblowing, but worth going to if there isn’t a massive line. (Was a straight walk in and walk out when we went).Bread flavours are nice. Defo worth dropping in, esp if you’re local. Unsure if it’s worth going out of your way for if you aren’t.

Best sourdough bread and pastries. Bearded guy who is always there is really lovely. He is very attentive, always goes above and beyond and helps me make decisions. His customer service skills are second to none and his smile is very contagious. Extra ordinary and valuable inclusion in your team. Will keep coming back.

Cobb Lane delivers again!! This was amazing. Some sort of pastry filled with lemon custard.

I can't remember it's name, but this French baguette pretzel thing, brushed with chilli & rosemary oil --- get it.

I recently had the pleasure of tasting the amazing fresh bread from Cobb Lane Bakery and all I can say is, WOW! The bread was so soft and flavourful, it had the perfect texture and taste. I will definitely return to this bakery soon to get more of their delicious bread. Highly recommended!
