Called in the morning to enquire about price etc. Dropped off 3 chef's knives and they were sharpened in 25 minutes. I've used them this afternoon and they are spectacular! I've had these knives sharpened at various places (butchers and other sharpeners) and they have never been great. Also, very affordable, $18 for three chef's knives. Northern Sharpening has sharpened these knives to brand new condition. I will not go anywhere else! Thank you!!

Avoid.Damaged profile, and is still blunt enough to struggle to slice a tomato. Customer service is awful, very unprofessional

These guys are the absolute BEST! I have had some bad experiences as a chef getting my knives sharpened, but these guys absolutely know their stuff. My knives are better than new!!!

Did a great job sharpening four kitchen knives, gardening shears and a lawnmower blade. They're like new again.I was initially wary about going having looked at some of the other reviews, however I thought the employee/owner was great to deal with.Yes, he might not be a man of many words, yes, you might have to wait 5-10 mins to be served whilst he sharpens tools/knives for other people, but so what??? The work done is fantastic and not expensive.

Came in to get a guillotine sharpened, but instead left with wonderful, frank advice to get a new one that’ll do the job (to cut more than just 1 piece of paper). Really wonderful, friendly service that’s so rare these days. Couldn’t recommend more.
