I highly recommend this business.We used Distinct Cabinets for a recent major kitchen renovation and Sam’s professionalism, ideas and attention to detail impressed me greatly. I had a number of other quotes and strong views on the new layout prior to getting Distinct Cabinets on board.Sam had a look at my sketches prior to coming to the house where he spent a number of hours going through the design in detail. He actually took the time to do some drawings on the floor and physically walked with us through the proposed ideas. Years of experience and the fact he actually seems to care lead to him making some suggestions and changes that though relatively small vastly improved the functionality and visual appeal of the kitchen.Distinct Cabinets quote was more than competitive and Sam went through pricing patiently and openly with us giving us variations so we could stick to our desired budget. What’s more in the end he passed a small saving on hardware he got onto us so the final bill was actually cheaper than his quote!Sam arrived on time, worked solidly and made the effort to ensure there was attention to detail. I doubt there would be as much genuine care with larger scale cabinet companies. I now have Distinct Cabinets doing robes for my bedrooms.I pass Distinct Cabinets details onto anyone who mentions they need a kitchen or any other cabinetry done. Sam from Distinct cabinets installed our American Oak Timber stair treads to our floating staircase in our new home. he was an absolute perfectionist, he was so great in helping us achieve the perfect varnish finish (extremely patient with my changes back and forth also). we get some many lovely comments on our stairs and the finish of them (thanks to Sam). if you want fantastic service at a very affordable price, we highly recommend Distinct Cabinets.
