Lovely walk along the beach. I wouldnt be too keen to swim there but my dog loved it.

Not for swimming or kids to play in. Just walk along. But good for dogs

Was a little dissapointed with this part of the beach, definitely not swimmable, tide was out and we walked out not far into what seemed to be black straining mud that you would sink into and ALOT of broken glass and rubbish. If you can get past the smell its a nice walk and you may even get to see some crabs and starfish along the walkway this time of the year if tide is out far enough just like we did.

Rippleside Beach
Fantastic place to launch a Kayak from which I do regularly. I would not recommend swimming there unless you are a dog, rather small beach and at low tide it is extremely muddy. There is a good sandy area for kids to play in and it is not far from a playground.
