The Bridge Hotel Mordialloc
Very underwhelming pub food at obscene prices. Avoid eating here, $41 for fish and chips where the chips were soggy and undercooked, 3 pieces of flat head tail were oily and the salad was terrible and had no dressing! Very disappointing given the great location. My friends meals were also very disappointing, we asked for ‘grilled’ John Dory fillets however they came out definitely fried with batter and when we question the waiter he told us they were grilled and walked away… we complained to the manager when paying the bill and we got some sympathy however I will not be returning any time soon. The menu needs an overhaul especially the prices!

Staff were lovely in the bistro but the food was way overpriced for what was served up. The pulled pork pizza special ($34) was more base than anything else and the “coleslaw” consisted of some grated carrot. Kids meal was also expensive for some pasta and sauce ($17). Won’t be rushing back here.

I’d like to give more stars but we waited a long time for all our food to arrive some was brought out quickly and the rest was obviously forgotten as we had to enquire where it was.We have been here before and all been good. The pizzas are delicious just a shame we couldn’t eat out meal together.Overall my the staff were friendly but when our food was eventually brought no apology for the wait. Just a simple sorry it was delayed would have been nice.Still overall would come again as these things happen.

Honestly the biggest rip off in town! The calamari was wet and oily. The kids nuggets were grey with chunks of bone the kids calamari was exactly the same as the adults - inedible. Service slow and indifferent. Waiter took a whole bowl of calamari from our table and asked “did you enjoy it?” I tried to reply and tell him how terrible it was but he was gone before I could even open my mouth. It baffles me that a waiter could take 4 full bowls of food and not check if there was an issue. No one cares !! This place could be so good!!!! But it just isn’t. They figured out they can sell poor quality food and people will still go there for the setting, so why bother? Stick to the cafe/bar - at least you can have a pizza. Steer clear of the “bistro”, youll leave having poured a few hundred dollars down the toilet!

Lovely clean place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. It's very popular due to the waterfront-riverside location, therefore it can get very busy and noisy with customers but this is very typical. The venue can house functions and large groups of people which is handy for booking special occasions. The price for food is at the higher end more typical for resauntrants rather than cafe's and the same can be said for the quality and quantity. Small portations at a premium price with descent flavour., not amazing but it's the location, service and facilities that makes The Bridge Hotel desirable destination to go, rather than the food.

My date and I decided to meet here for a catch up brunch. Staff made an exception to the end of breakfast being served due to us arriving just prior to the cut off.Sat outside in the sunshine on the deck and was quickly waited on and our order taken.Pancakes were pretty good (not something I’d usually order) and my date had the breaky burger which was enjoyed. A lovely unrushed experience and it didn’t feel cramped even though the place was very busy.Recommend for a weekend brunch/lunch date for sure!

Food was very much a pub meal but with a over-inflated price tag. I had the spicy prawns and scallops which was served with a generous amount of rice, 3 scallops and 5 prawns served with a small side salad. The dish was fairly under-seasoned but seafood cooked well, but for $39 I was expecting a little more finess. Wine selection was good and athough the staff were friendly, service was very lacking. We had to chase down the waiting staff twice for service to our table. Could do better.

We booked the function room for 130 guests, to celebrate my 50th and what a memorable experience. The food, the service and the venue was amazing. Faye, Ian, DJ, and the staffs should be commended, they went out of their way to make it an enjoyable night for everyone. Thank you again, I am so glad we decided to have our party there.

Brilliant it’s been a fair while since i’ve seen such polite and professional waiting staff, they were all age groups. A simple “have you all finished may I clear the table?”Was incredible thank you guys.The food was great Kids cheeseburger was amazing.Lamb salad was remarkableVery very happyThanks again
