South Haven, Kangaroo Valley

The location was beautiful but unfortunately the house was poorly maintained and not suitable for a comfortable stay for more than 10 guests even though it is advertised for up to 12 guests. We had a few issues during our stay (eg. bug infestation, foul smelling bathroom drains) which could have all been avoided and our stay improved if the property were well maintained. Unfortunately not the 5 star experience we were expecting based on other reviews.

What a wonderful property.. everything you could hope for, for a relaxing time away. Came here after our sons wedding (9 of us). Beautiful scenery and so peaceful.. had everything that I could hope for. Thanks Karen for making our stay memorable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this superb property. The house was spacious,private & well-equipped,the views were spectacular & location-wise it was convenient to town. We loved the pool & spa & our only wish was that we could have stayed longer-it was very relaxing & great with kids. I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful house & we will definitely be back!

Great location, with beautiful views across the valley. For a short or longer stay the property has all you will need to enjoy a relaxing restful break. The owners are very responsive and will help with all enquiries. Very happy to recommend.

South Haven is a spectacular spot to spend a weekend away. We stayed over the long weekend with a group of friends and it couldn't have been better – incredibly well equipped house, with some great amenities! Wonderful hosts who provide more than enough information to make your stay comfortable. Already looking into when we can return!

The perfect house for a relaxing girls weekend! The location is spot on, the house is amazing and the spa overlooking the valley is the cherry on top - highly recommend!

8 of us enjoyed a wonderful weekend in May 2021. The house has a warm and welcoming feel, is well-equipped, comfortable and ideal for friends to share. The wonderful dining room and huge kitchen meant we didn't need the living room with blazing fire, and even the spa could not drag us away!The four bedrooms in the house and separate two-storey coach house (1 bed) next door meant for plenty of space. Peaceful and surrounded by beautiful country, birds and wildlife, it's ten minutes to Kangaroo Valley, with a good pub with garden and really nice cafe's. As well, what I would call 'Aladdin's Caves' or 'Emporiums' rather than just shops, stuffed full of a wide range of nick knacks to please any keen shopper.The highlight for me visit-wise was a trip to Fitzroy Falls, our timing fabulous, as after heavy rains it was teeming and gorgeous. OK, the paths were muddy, but a small price to pay, and $4 parking only! Highly recommend this place for 8 or 10. You won't regret it.

Amazing and exciting place - we made so many beautiful memories with our extended family of 12. The accommodation and facilities were very clean, practical and comfortable - the space, layout and the views were outstanding too. The main and coach houses together are set up to cater for up to 6 x couples very well. The hosts are so welcoming, genuine, friendly and helpful - perfectly matching this outstanding and well maintained property. You will certainly look forward to going back to South Haven again after your visit!

Stayed here with some girlfriends recently and absolutely loved it. Such a relaxing break in a wonderful location. The property is fantastic and has lots to offer, such a the spa and huge living spaces to chill in. The view is outstanding too. Highly recommend

South Haven i a beautiful home overlooking the valley. We went with 4 other couples the house has 4 bedroom + the coach house which slept 10 very comfortably. It is very difficult to find a holiday home that sleep 5 couples with queen size beds. The kitchen was well equipped, huge dining table. Unfortunately the weather was cold and rainy so we made use of the fire place. The girls made use of the spa while the boys enjoyed a punt on the races. Overall we had a wonderful stay and we would come back 100%. Karen the host was amazing to deal with.
