I recently had the pleasure of dining at Simons Waterfront and I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience. The location alone, perched atop the beach with panoramic views of the surf, is worth every penny. But what really made this place stand out to me was how easy it was to make a day of it. I was able to take my son to the park across the way while I waited for our table to be ready. Then, once we were seated, we got to enjoy our meal while watching the surfers catch waves just beyond the window. The food was fantastic, service was impeccable, and the view was unbeatable. I highly recommend Simons to anyone looking for a truly special dining experience. It's the perfect place to spend a day with family and friends. Five stars!

Have been here for two New Years Eve dinners in a row now and will make it an annual thingService is absolutely amazing. Food is delicious. Only real negative i have is that the portion sizes are a little small, especially with the main salads.Beach views along with NYE fireworks from the pier. Highly recommend. Thanks to all staff. See you next year.

First time in Warrnambool, driving en route to Melbourne. Pleasant dining experience all round! We arrived at 530 pm without any reservations and for a Thursday night, they only had one table for four available until 630 pm. Popular place! Stay or go? We stayed and the waiter gave us tips on what dishes would be fastest to prep- fish n chips and calamari with Asian salad. Good portions, nicely done with a light batter and tasty. Friendly service, warm ambience and beautiful seaside views as the sun set. Pricier than I would usually pay for the same in Adelaide but no regrets.

When we finished our meal we were full and content. I had fish and chips and hubby had the chowder which he loved. We also had dessert. The food tasted amazing! Fabulous service and sensational view.However the trouble started about an hour after we got back to the hotel. I spent the whole night (9:30pm -6:30am) in the bathroom with violent diarrhoea and continual vomiting. I have never been so sick.The extremely disappointing part was when I phoned and told them that I got food poisoning, the owner never called me back. I was very upset as the dinner cost $115 and the hotel was $310 per night and obviously that money went down the drain…… well toilet. It is 3 days later and I still haven’t heard a thing.

The view is amazing, but it took around 1 hour to get our food, as they have not been prepared for the long weekend busy hours. It is worth to try it.

Second time here, nice beers, nice view, nice ppl. Last time found steak sandwiches a little cold.., had the salmon special and was very, very well cooked and..delicious.really a calming place.

A group of 5 of us made a reservation for the restaurant in advance, because it was already dark when we arrived, so we didn't go to the seat where we could see the sea. The interior decoration is very beautiful, suitable for a warm chat atmosphere after dinner. Meals had special chef recommendations each day and we enjoyed delicious recommended meals. Also very full to eat. Also enjoyed the delicious red wine and had a very pleasant evening.

First time in Warrnambool and on our 3rd day we walked in to Simon's just to have hot drinks...Service is good and the lovely lady the cashier is awesome. However the lady taking our orders got it wrong and did not even offer to correct it. In addition its pricey...Sometimes you can ignore the price if the service is good...and we did not have a good experience.May be this place is not good for walk-ins and better for customers who have bookings??? I don't know....Will probably will not know.

Came as a family of 5 so phone in and booked in for the dome, confirmed many times if its for the dome as we were deciding between this place and another. We got dogs so we needed to make sure, arrived at the place and was told that we can sit outside but NOT the dome as they were short staffed and theres nothing they can do (they literally said its out of their control) so we needed to sit outside in an extremely cold night, shivering.Ordered many dishes to try, food wasn't good not even the chowder. Good location, next to the sea, but seafood served are frozen.My family travelled from overseas and this is by far one of their worse experience in Australia.As Aussie ourselves, this level of hospitality is truly a let down.
