This place is legit. Just note that during Ramadan, opening hours are from 4pm.Kelantanese, Butterworth fam, loving the food here. We tried char kwei diao, pesambur, nasi kerabu, ayam percit, nasi lemak, satay (which was cooked in coals and served with kuah, ketupat.....). If you know, you know. If you don't understand then you'll have to trust that M'sian's will know.Get in early before it sells out or tables get taken, or bring your takeaway containers and do the real Malaysia da bao" way. Thank you to all the talented cooks and chefs here. Great authentic vibe

Very messy place and dirty, tables, chairs, cutlery etc. Chicken skewers not too bad, although abit burnt. Other food and drinks way over priced for the atmosphere, area and service eg can of coke $4, and 2 pieces of chicken drumsticks with rice $21 dollars. Not worth it.Note: whatever you do, don’t use the bathrooms, you will lose your appetite.

Food was generally delicious, highlights were the bone marrow soup, nasi lemak with additions of your choice, satay chicken and teh tarik. I went on a Friday night and it was incredibly crowded and slow so expect to wait in line for about 20-30 mins for each stall. Seating was also limited. Not a great place for groups or the very old/young. The stalls also don't accept card so have cash available or PayID. It's a good once off foodie experience but probably won't be back regularly.

We drove almost an hour to eat here because we're crazy about traditional Malaysian food.Thinking it would be quiet on a Sunday night, we were wrong! We had trouble find parking and had to park a few blocks away from the venue which was located across Guilford station.Yummy Village was packed with people happily chatting and eating. The inviting smells from the BBQ chicken satays were making our mouths water. They had a few no frills table and chairs, but none were free.We had our toddler with us, so it was a little stressful trying to get seats, plus trying to shield him from the smoke. I wouldn't recommend taking little ones here. They had toilets, but you had to ask for a key to get in. They were filthy! There were around 4 or 5 stores open, like a mini hawker centre. It actually felt like we were overseas in Malaysia. Popular Malaysian dishes were available and cooked freshly. The chicken skewers were nice, but a little on the sweet side. The Char kway Teow was good but not outstanding. Pricing was fair, but not cheap. Everyone there was pretty friendly, though.Overall, we're glad we visited this place, but we're in no hurry to go back there again. Oh, and just.a heads up, most stores only accept cash!

This is Malaysian street food at its best as far as I know in Sydney. Food is tasty as, and you feel like you're in a hawker centre in Malaysia.

Yummy food. Arrived at 7 and the skewers were all sold out. So sad.Had some seafood char hor fun, char keow teow, beef noodle soup, fried chicken and rice, tea and fried bananas.Favourite of all was the soup which was very flavourful and fragrant and perfect on this cold night. Tea was also very yummy but strong so it kept me awake all night.

Decent little place and can see what the owner(s) are trying to do however could be a lot better planned or even some thought put in-Sate ayam and sate daging, both legit with sauce, ketupat and onion/cucumber-Pasembur was not bad, some ingredients shouldnt be there.-Mi gear box is just as expected, sup kambing with some noodles-Nasi lemak sotong wasnt good. Rice was clumpy and not lemak. Sambal had a weird taste. Sotong serving was small-Teh tarik was too sweet. Served from an esky and teh o ais limau does not have enough limau or ais. Both drinks does not come with a lid which is very puzzling.Pricing wise, higher than i expected to be at guildford and the ambiance of the place.

Recommended if you like crowded and outdoor barbecue. But the taste is just average and the place and food are not hygienic.
