Very yummy Thai food. We had the mixed entree, seafood Tom yum soup, Kang ped duck (duck curry) and a serving of steamed rice to share. I really enjoyed the big bit of fish in the Tom yum soup and oh my goodness the duck curry was so tasty, it had bits of lychee and pineapple which paired so good with the coconut curry flavour. I will definitely be back for the duck curry!

Came here with low expectations with only knowing the best Sydney Thai restaurants. Was immediately very impressed, these guys know good Thai cooking as good as anyone if not better. This would be my go to joint on a weekly basis if I lived up this way

(3.5 stars)“One, two, three, four... seven!” My dining companion is counting prawns. It strikes me as odd before I look at the large sizzling platter of spicy Thai prawns ($23.90) and see that it’s basically a collection of well-handled vegetables cooked with red chilli and aromatic spices like lemongrass and green peppercorns. While the prices at Thai Space, Ettalong are comparatively low, the restaurant misses the mark on the perception of good value by serving the dish in this manner.BBQ lamb cutlets ($19.90)—depicted on-the-bone in the menu pictures—arrive grilled and marinated but bone-free. They’re tasty, but not quite as tasty as they would have been if cooked bone-in with fat to melt, like the super-tender massaman lamb shank ($21.90). Served with a single roti, this is easily my favourite dish, impressing with a plump lamb shank and a compelling curry gravy, enhanced by mashed sweet potato, crisp fried onions and a swirl of coconut cream. We ate it on spicy fried rice with chicken ($15.90) that was a bit over-moist for it. In retrospect, coconut rice would have been a better option.Service felt a bit bare bones—nothing wrong but lacking a few airs and graces. However the fact that Thai Space allows BYO and does a competent job across all dishes in an attractive enough indoor-outdoor setting edged with banana palms, means locals and visitors probably won’t care.

Great food and so much of it we couldnt finish it We were a party of 14 and had the $35 banquet What a great selection of food and an abundance of it. They didnt even charge us corkage. Great friendly service, a must when in Ettalong.

We ordered a meal, it arrived 2 hours later, I had phoned In between asking where it was, was told they would re cook the meal as it contained prawns, in fact was told twice they would re cook, only for it to arrive cold and congealed, so disappointed we were lied to, we have patronised this restaurant for 3 years by dining in and take away, but no one likes being deceived and not being acknowledged for their patronage. This was disgraceful service and we will never use it again! Clearly they don’t care about support given to their business

I took my wife and daughter for dinner here on Monday evening. We were all blown away with the taste of the food here. It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and great service.This modest looking Restaurant has the flavours of Thai capitulated in a way like no other Thai Restaurant around. Definitely worth going back to again and again.

A quiet little restaurant that will get busy in the summer months. Parking was excellent and we got a spot right outside the door.The service was quick and friendly and they catered for some special dietary requirements.Disabled access is very good and there is good spacing between tables.Food was delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Well done.

We had a Thai dinner here with friends the other week. It was a little warm in the restaurant and we would have liked air-conditioning but our meal was lovely. I had the beef salad and hubs had the duck curry. All of the other food looked good too!

Definitely the best Thai in the Southern Central Coast. The kitchen is open and you can see in very clearly. Staff and the kitchen were clean and organised. Came for dinner on a Saturday night and the place was pumping. From the indoor and outdoor dining, take away orders and menu log, the meals didn't stop coming. With all that we still got served promptly and the meals came out in an acceptable amount of time. The dishes were super tasty and full of fresh crisp vegetables.Bring your own wine as they are BYO.Highly recommend!
