The Little Wine Company

The little wine company must be put on your list of places to visit in the Hunter valley. Beautiful food and friendly staff that are more than happy to share their knowledge of wines. Great spot for wine tasting and dinner.

Visited TLWC with a big group. This was our third spot on a tour and we were a little rowdy, but were still warmly welcomed and seated promptly. The tasting seemed expensive at $10pp (comes off bottle if you purchase), but after experiencing it... it represents great value for money. We got over 10 tastes and were never rushed. The host was friendly and funny. He took the time to explain everything in a lot of detail, but not in the usual dry and boring way you get at just about every other winery. Being more of a boutique for lots of wines, the prices were a tad expensive, but the wine was quality, so we were happy to pay. I was glad to find 2 sangioveses on the menu, being our favourite and a wine that is hard to find in the HV. Overall, this was our favourite stop of the day and we highly recommend it.

Fantastic wine tasting experience, especially for wine newbies! Fun for groups, I've been twice and both groups had a great time.

Great customer serviceworth joining membership

I was glad that the little wine company was our first stop of the day. Neil is not only a great entertainer, but also very passionate about wine. At the beginning of the session, he took the time to walk us through the basis of wine tasting, such as how to hold the glass, colour of the wines and how to sniff the wine properly. No one else did that for us! He even tailored the experience for each one of us in such a beautiful way, making us try extra wines not included in the tasting according to our liking. Neil added value to the experience, I highly recommend you pay him a visit!

Quiet, away from the crowds. Friendly, welcoming staff. No pressure. Relaxed, delicious platter looking at the water.

Good service. Good collection of wine. Prices of some wine seemed a bit too high. But guess when in hunter..
