REPLY TO JESS WHITTAKERWith regard to Jess's claim of lack of communication Chris spoke often with regard to the parts supply delays due to worldwide shortages for this vehicle. The bonnet was not available anywhere worldwide at this time, which we were advised by the manufacturer parts supplier and this information was passed onto Jess.We actually spent a LOT of time trying to source a bonnet to enable repairs to be completed earlier.With regard to Jess's claim that the assessment was incompetent, anyone who understands panel repairs is aware that there is often damage that cannot be seen UNTILL the vehicle is dismantled.This is quite common requiring extra parts to be ordered.Jess has made accusation that the car had been driven for 70 klm's . We have a photo of the speedo reading from when the car was unloaded from the tow truck as per standard procedure and the final reading on the last check from the scan tool direct from the vehicles computer. 11klm's was the correct distance driven this included a test drive and taking it for a wheel alignment. As a Goodwill" gesture Jess was given $60.00 for fuel which would certainly cover the 11klm's covered during the repairs.Jess has been a difficult person to deal with throughout the repair procedure and has caused distress to several people involved in the process."

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the service. They took more time than originally scheduled and I only found out when I called them. They damaged the right-hand side electric window operating system when repainting the door on that side. They couldn't be bothered to clean the inside of my car before giving it back to me with left overs of masking tapes inside, marks of dirty hands from paint on the dashboard, etc. I'm really sorry but I'll never recommend anyone to go there.

Tingay Smash Repairs came to our rescue when our vehicle broke down on the Calder Freeway. Chris and his friendly staff could not have been more helpful. In no time at all our vehicle was safely stored and a car hired so we could continue our journey to Melbourne. All our efforts to find someone to repair our vehicle at short notice failed. Chris went the extra mile, called all his contacts and found someone. Thank you Chris, Vicky, Jo and Adam for outstanding service. You guys are the best!

8 weeks to get our car 'fixed'. The headlights don't match, they put a cheaper one in and our Xenon globes are missing! They damaged our tailgate (dent) and fixed it only after we noticed it! If it wasn't noticed before we left, they wouldn't have been responsible for it. They damaged the window tinting , the weather strip is not fitted correctly. Window is very noisy when operated. It was all panel replacement, no panel beating and it took 7 weeks!! and then another week to fix the dent.We will NEVER darken their doorstop again, should have taken it to the local plumber who probably would have done a better job. BEWARE, don't waste your time going to these people. WE will never BE BACK!!! If we could give them no stars we would have.

If you value your car OR your sanity at all, DO NOT GO HERE. Received no communication the entire 4.5 months that my car was in for repairs, and every time I called was told a different story regarding when my car would be ready. Not only was I lied to on MULTIPLE occasions, but my car came back with a fault with the computer AND my car also came back with the half a tank of fuel I had when put in for repairs completely missing upon picking it up. Owner was lazy and incompetent when assessing my car, which only led to further parts being required after initial ordering had already been done. I've never been less satisfied with a business in my entire life and could not recommend them less. If I could give Tingays zero stars I would.

We used their towing services yesterday through RACV total assist, we were stuck on the Calder Alternative highway parked on the side of the road unable to move, in a terrible position, a big thankyou to Chris who organised a quick tow for us, a thankyou to Mark who loaded our ute and hooked up our caravan, and a big thanks to Nathan who got us home safely and was the best company on the trip. Great job guys. Highly recommend you all.

Visiting from out of town, vehicle unfortunately hit a roo, and our insurance service was being useless. Mark and Tingay to the rescue! So friendly, and helped reduce a lot of stress for us, so we are very appreciative of them and their all around great service.

I hit a Kangaroo and went to Tingays for the repair.My car needed the side doors and front guard repaired or replaced while there I asked if they could do extra work to fix other previous damage No Problem was the reply they even had the towbar sandblasted and recoated . Very Happy with the service they provided

Great company went above and beyond too get me and my broken down car home too Melbourne.Would highly recommend this company too anyone considering about using them.Cheers guys and girls keep up the good work
