New Patient Appointment Process.I'm sure the healthcare is great once you're a regular patient, but I regret to report that my experience with the clinic was completely unsatisfactory. When I contacted Balance as a new patient to make an appointment, I was informed that I would need to visit several times to become familiar with my GP before receiving the medical care I needed. Regrettably, during the conversation, I was talked over and felt that I was not being heard, with my concerns being completely disregarded.Additionally, the communication was overly aggressive, and I was made to feel like my time was being wasted.As a medical practice, the primary objective should be to provide medical assistance to patients, and any obstacles or requirements for treatment should be conveyed transparently. I would challenge Balance on whether the clinic has the capacity to take on new patients or not, rather than push to book in multiple consults at full price before they can provide medical assistance.I'm disappointed with the overall experience and expect a higher level of professionalism from a medical clinic.1/10, would not recommend.

I saw for 6 sessions Janet Hayes, a mental health nurse who was initially presented to me as a psychologist. I stopped seeing her as she was providing barely an approach or practical feedback. She was required to sent a report to Ndis. Her report was basically mean towards me, she repeated that i was spending the sessions venting" my woes when i was simply answering her persistant and only question of " how did that make you feel?" I suffer from severe depression for six months and i am very ill. She wrote that i was verbally agressive twice when I questionned her abilities to offer any worthwile therapy. She did not have to say one good thing about me in her report

Great medical facility. Wait time was minimal. Reception staff were professional and friendly. Nurse Helen and Dr Win were fantastic!

A family member who was so unwell they couldn't drive and relied on a taxi to get to the appointment was only 5 minutes late for the appointment but turned away and refused treatment. Absolutely ridiculous!!

The staff are very rude and unprofessional, only care about covering thier own arses.I was refused treatment during a consultation because they didn't have my previous medical records ( but still charged the full consultation fee). Not hearing from them for some time after getting my medical records sent to them from my previous interstate Doctor, I inquired. That's when I learned they had shredded and poorly scanned my medical records with at least half of them being illegible. I was still unable the receive proper medication and treatment due to thier error... Which they refused to acknowledge until I became upset (not aggressive). Only to be sat down, not with a Dr, but an administrative worker explaining and showing in writing that they are not liable for thier actions. Then I was escorted off the premises.Just look at all of the signs and rules when you enter, it's not hard to see that they are not very interested in helping the patient.

Was just told I wasn’t a patient long enough via phone appointment to gain access to antibiotics to help aid in healing my Pilonidal sinus ( extremely painful cyst that forms between the buttocks) , and needing help to ward off potentially deadly infections because of my diabetes.I would have gone to my doc that originally treated me but can’t get an appointment until next week .Don’t bother asking this Dr business for medical assistance as they won’t help First Nation peoples when you need help .

Disgusting treatment. 5 minutes late to an appointment and turned away despite being extremely unwell.

I have blood tests here at Sullivan and nicolaides ; never a line and always a friendly, efficient nurse...

We tried to go In today, My bf had 3 broken toes and bc of reasons we were no later than 10 minutes late, and they refused to have us there even though he has a multiple broken toes. So rude. Wasn’t expecting it but of course Edmonton let us down.

If you want to be rushed in and out if an exam and leave with no diagnosis and then be given a 3 day supply of pain relief for an injury you've had for 2 months this is the place to go! Then if you call and mention the prescription makes you feel sick and need a different one you'll be told to come pay again to see another doctor who also only gets 10 minutes per patient. What a joke!
