Indooroopilly Veterinary Clinic

For years, I have been a customer at this vet. However, over the course of the last year I have been extremely disappointed and have decided not to return. It seems their primary focus is solely on making money, and it feels like they lack genuine concern for anything else. Additionally, the staffs behaviour has been consistently impolite. It’s disappointing as the convenience factor was a major plus, but unfortunately, I will be going elsewhere in the future.

After having bad experiences at other clinics with a temperamental Australian Terrier Dr Danielle was fantastic. Made the dog feel very comfortable and explained to us very clearly his condition. Would highly recommend this clinic

The story starts on Saturday 23rd of Jan 2021. This little bird, Ash, flies away around 3pm. For the next 2 hours the family goes crazy trying to find Ash. Young and old. All traumatised as he went missing. Facebook refuses to allow us to place an ad for a missing bird so we posted one on Gumtree. On Monday 25th, a lady sms me telling she may know where this cutie may be. She found another ad from a lady reporting the finding of a similar bird. The ad poster ended up taking the bird to the local Vet clinic despite receiving offers to give it to someone else. A few hours later we were in touch with all 3 individuals who through a complete coincidence were by now helping to reunite us with Ash. At that time we were 5 hours away from Brisbane. We returned on Tuesday 26th (Australia Day). Megan from Indooroopilly Veterinary Clinic took Ash to her house to spend the night over as it was a public holiday and didn't want to leave him alone. On Tuesday she gave us her address to reunite us asap. From there, it was the best happiest ending anyone can imagine for these 4 extraordinary days. Thank you Megan for all what you have done for Ash. You have gone many extra miles to demonstrate acts that simply reflect your values and those of your Clinic's. I wish Google has an extra bonus golden star to give it to you. THANK YOU!!!

Our cats have been visiting Indooroopilly Veterinary Clinic for over ten years now and my two childhood cats also were patients there for their long lives. I can't say enough great things about the care that our pets have received. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the vets are extremely knowledgeable and willing to explain our cats health issues and treatment options clearly. It's also a great place to purchase good quality pet food. If you want you pets to have the very best medical treatment, I would recommend this clinic unreservedly.

Our 13 years old mini schnauzer',Monty, been attending the Indooroopilly vet clinic for several years & he has been wonderfully cared for & treated expertly over last few years since he has developed pancreatitis & IBD which has affected his quality of life; fortunately with all the loving attention & expertise of the staff( Drs. Sue,Danielle & Kathy & the smiling & loveliest of vet.nurses including Amber & all the others, Monty is on the mend & is enjoying good health again; I have no hesitation recommending the clinic to anyone with a pet they love & cherish.

Great caring and friendly staff. I have 3 pets of various breed and life stages and needs . Their continuity of care is always met and I cannot fault it . We are greeted with a smile each visit . Highly recommend a visit with your furry friend!

After going to this vet for a couple of years I will never go back. I have thought for sometime they are always just trying to get money out of us instead of actually caring about what the animals need. Our recent experience confirmed this 100% where they refused to put my dehydrated cat on a drip without extorting me for more money for tests. So a simple case of Gastro for my cat would have costs me in total around 1600 with this vet. I can confirm after hand feeding my cat water that she is now fine and it was all that was required. If you like to be extorted and your animal not actually cared for then this is the vet for you.

Unfortunately not a great experience with them, rude staff.

Our persian Hugo sees Dr Cathy Fodor. Cathy is the loveliest vet I have ever met. She is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced woman who has given us great support with our kitty since our first visit. The receptionists and vet nurses are very professional, caring and friendly too. We recommend this vet highly!
