Commonwealth Hotel

Friendly staff and service but disappointed in the meals. The outside eating area was on uneven ground due to drainage gradient making it hard to sit comfortably at the table. There was an aroma of garbage in that area too. Food and drink prices were on par with other local places.

Just drank there . Didn't stay .The beer wasn't cold and had bottle beer out of the fridge. Had to put them in an ice bucket . The meal was Ok. The courtesy bus was great .

Went there for dinner great menu selection, great value staff were awesome highly recommend.

Great place, food was excellent with pleasant staff, clean and tidy surrounds.

Only dined in the restaurant with my family, which was reasonably clean, chairs on one table had what looked like gecko droppings the remainder were all clean and in good order. Décor was simple but present, staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. Meals were excellent and well above our expectations for central Queensland. A great dining experience.The reason for 4 stars, I venture into the main bar to view their beer selection, thought I was on the set of deliverance, every one stopped and stared at me as if I had a second head this made me uncomfortable. They probably are very nice people, I'll never know as I made a quick exit.
