Kriket Broadhurst Artisan Jewellery

What a find! Beautiful one-off pieces of jewellery crafted in a beautiful art space at Mount Tamborine. I bought a necklace with a teal-coloured Icelandic seaglass drop alongside a rose gold nugget cast from a mould made from a small piece of seaglass on an Italian rose gold box chain. Kriket then made earrings to match. The set is stunning - unique, delicate and sublime in design and crafting. I love them.

After going through cancer treatment last year, I wanted something to reflect what I had been through. I saw Kriket's work at Manly markets several years ago and it had always stayed in my mind.I am not the same person I was before cancer. I love the idea that sea glass is buffeted by the currents of the ocean and it becomes transformed into something beautiful and resilient.I contacted Kriket about making something customised. Kriket was onboard immediately. She completely understood where I was coming from. She has an amazing eye for design and a kind and generous heart. Her suggestions were wonderful and together we worked through various ideas until my stack of silver and gold bangles were each unique but worked so well as a whole.I adore my finished pieces. They are exquisite. I can see my journey on my wrist every day. Kriket made the whole experience of ordering custom very special. I felt that this went past just being a commercial transaction, but rather it was a joyful experience due to Kriket's wonderful empathy and intuition.
