Good beautiful free camping spot with beautiful walk down to see the waterOnly let down is the toilet needs to be cleaned as it has really bad smell and is putrid As you can see what the person who been in before you buisness

Absolutely loved staying here the night and would return.Can see why it gets busy in summer, hopefully it stays free as we saw a sign concerning rubbish disposal in the drop toilet possibly leading to it becoming a paid site due to maintenance.Sheltered and quiet with pretty views down by the water, not far from Freycinet so easy to access lookouts and walking tracks around Coles bay area.

Some bays are a bit small, however we managed to get our camper van in with enough space for a fire. 1 drop toilet only. Close to beach & bush. We visited in the off season, but i could see this spot being busy in peak times

Great free little campsite, first come first serve. Best to arrive and set up before 6pm (Jan). Can become quite packed. Drop toilet is average. Beautiful short walk to the water.Water: can be refilled on Harold St playground in town.Toilets: visitor centre at Freycinet very clean.

We stayed here for one night so we could do our hikes at Freycinet. It is a top spot and free. There was heaps of room while we were here and we could fit our 26ft caravan in easy, it did get busier after we arrived and came back in the late afternoon. We felt completely safe leaving our caravan here! Nice free spot to stop for the night. Area is very sandy so be careful not to get bogged. Pick a spot away from the drop toiled as it can smell quite bad. Short stroll to the water's edge which is quite pretty.

Free camping in a stunning location! Basic facilities (one pit toilet) but what a spot! Busy so you may want to arrive early to grab a spot, then enjoy the sunset on the Swan River

Small but a great spot to unwind with semi private areas surrounded by trees. A long drop for and an easy walk to the shore with stunning views to the Hazards .

While the place is just fantastic (if you like it simple as much as we do), sunset & sunrise are stunning and the mood is calm we (as in all of us) are messing it up: as the toilets have been used as garbage dump by several tourist idiots the park service answers with added chemicals to keep the toilets operable. The result was an unbearable stench while we were there and we gave up after one night. What a pity...
