Please change your oil. The chips were so bad. They tasted like old oil and had a disgusting after taste. We had to throw them out and get dinner elsewhere.

Not sure who else does magnificent slabs of crispy battered English cod like this joint does. It’s simply the best piece of fish I’ve had for a looooong time. A trip to Gawler now on a regular basis for me. Best cod south of the North Atlantic!

The king burger is great. The lady that does them I appreciate so much. The burger is Consistent in quality, tasty, good value and not greasy. Takes 5 minutes. the fish and chips are really good too!

i had the half chicken n chips with gravy, moist chicken, tasty crunchy skin, stuffing was also flavoursome but not much quantity. have been here a few time consistent with their quality, very popular with the seniors at lunchtime, fried chicken also looks good

Lamb yiros wasn't too good meat was dry and had too much sauce and a little salad, manager was rude to staff member shifting chairs and tables
