The receptionist is one of the rudest people Ive met. Went in today an when filling out the registration forms went to go ask a question, thought it would be a bit difficult to hear I lifted my mask off my face ( it was still covered) got cut off mid way asking with ‘ I can hear you’. A receptionist is the first point of contact when entering a facility you’d think they’ll be abit more welcoming and nicer. This was not the case if you don’t like speaking or dealing with people then this isn’t the job for you. Very very rude.

Receptionist is quite rude, no empathy and lacking professionalism. She made us feel very uncomfortable and had an attitude as we didn’t have an appointment, she rolled her eyes and said didn’t you see the clear signs downstairs when you walked in. I explained politely our situation and still was made to feel like we were useless. If your not happy with your job please resign so somebody that is more genuine and interested in helping people can be employed.

Fortunately it seems they have recently improved their service. I was nervous about going here because of all the negative reviews. My experience was much different. The receptionists were friendly and served me promptly. The technicians were also very friendly and explained everything properly, and overall my visit was stress-free and quick!!!

Very poor reception and customer service. I called a few times and waited for more than 15 minutes, but nobody responded. I booked online and waited for their call, but it didn't happen. I call them and waited even longer until they responded. I asked if I could confirm my online appointment, but they said no, I have to wait for them to call me back!! It is two days and I am still waiting for them to get back to me. I will try to find a new place for my scans in the future.

I live an hour away from North Melbourne am dependent on my son who works in Richmond and a very good friend who lives near me. I was given varying estimates as to how long the procedure would take which I needed to know as my friend who was to collect me had an hour''s drive. Having arranged for my son to take me I arrived only to be told the doctor who would perform the procedure which was quite uncommon was not in that day and was told that I had been told this when I rang the previous day. This was untrue and I hadn't been emailed or texted. I was told that I should come back the next day. No apology was given at first but after I showed my disappointment and complained about mistake and inconvenience I was told there would be no charge. I appreciate the gesture but it still left me having to arrange transport again and my son losing valuable time as well as my friend.I attended the next day early and did not see any medical staff until half an hour after the designated time. When I asked about the delay I was told my appointment was at 12.30. She then checked and admitted it was at 12 and this time she apologised.The scan was done very professionally and because of the position of the spinal cord the injection was without anaesthetic. I think we were all relieved when it was completed. Rather than the 30 minutes that was suggested the procedure took 90 minutes.I realise that there are different types of procedure and some are more common than others. I feel it would be advantageous if when booking the time, the procedure should be graded so that a more realistic collection time could be given. It would also be helpful if the time required to pick up was taken into consideration.I also noticed that no note was taken of a number to call. In my case where it involved long drives and different people bringing and taking me, in the unlikely event that something went wrong there would be no one to contact.The system seems set up for the common appointments and procedures. In cases such as mine, there are too many gaps in the organisation. When you are dealing with people in pain it is essential that every effort be made for them to be able to relax knowing everything is properly organised.

Be sure you know exactly where you are supposed to be injected because the doctors won't know, even if there's been in depth discussion prior. Or just go somewhere else, that's the better option

System has so many delays, it took 2 weeks to upload a scan result. After multiple phone follow ups they still didn't upload it into the patients portal and continuously say to expect it in 5,7,9 business days. Team only finally checked for issues in uploading and uploaded the scans after making a written enquiry - poor regard for the patient's time.

Had a wonderful experience here. The receptionist was friendly and treated me kindly. The techincian who did the scan was also kind. The procedure was done smoothly and didn't take a long time at all. Everthing was finished within half an hour.

Hi,I just want to acknowledge the amazing care I had received from Rebecca today whilst going through with my MRI procedure there on level 5 at Lake Imaging at North Melbourne. I had reservations leading up to and going through the procedure as I suffer with claustrophobia. Rebecca was so caring and reassuring through the whole process and explained the whole procedure in detail and helped me overcome my fear in regards to the X-ray process and scanning procedure.
