If ever there was an award for fastest service in Sydney, Kinhboy would win it.But speed didn't affect the quality. All dishes came out well presented and delicious.The Hanoi spring rolls wrapped in leaves and shaking beef were the standouts for me.Definitely worth a visit in Barangaroo

While visiting Sydney recently for Vivid , my friend and I decided to go to Barangaroo to Kinhboy for dinner .I’d never been in this area for dinner before , and with all the Vivid installations it was very busy .Despite the crowd of people , we were seated promptly in a friendly manner to pursue the menu .There were quite a few gluten free options, so we ordered a few things to share ; BBQ duck rice paper rolls, the salt and pepper tofu and the charcoal chicken supreme .We also both ordered a cockatiel get the most out of the Vivid atmosphere.I enjoyed all the dishes , but standout was Charcoal chicken supreme , which had an amazing flavour, especially with the addition of the flavourful Nuoc Cham sauce . We also loved the spicy peanut sauce that came with the rice paper rolls- when we finished that dish , we kept the remainder of the peanut sauce to eat with the rest of the dishes .The spicy lychee cocktail was also a hit - but be aware , it is quite hot . But very refreshing .Staff were friendly, efficient and the service was seamless, lots of smilesI would love to come back here again for lunch when it is less busy to enjoy a lovely view of the water .

The location is excellent but the food and service was less than average for the price point. Fish ceviche had a terrible fishy aftertaste (likely not fresh fish). Rice paper rolls were small and didn’t particularly stand out. The other dishes were tasty but the flavors were pretty basic. Overall was expecting more for the price.

Had the $79 set menu here for a group of 7 and it was really good. Highlights were the ceviche, grilled corn, taco and sorbet. Excellent service and nice ambience!

Excellent Vietnamese cuisine on offer in the heart of Barangaroo. Popular location with great vibe and atmosphere. Staff are friendly with efficient service and smiles aplenty. Recommend the pho, the charcoal chicken, vegetarian spring rolls and the Saigon beer is gold medal standard!

Poped in sat night around 6. Great service. They advised of happy hour that was finishing in 10 min. Very thoughtful. So great cocktail and yummy food delivered quickly. Will be back for more.. have found our new happy hour spot..

For our group of 6, the $79pp taster menu was great and very filling. For reference, I’ve noted the portion sizes on the photo captions :) The only dish that I didn’t take a picture of was the fried rice served with mains. They gave us two plates of it and that definitely filled us up.All of us ordered cocktails with our meal and three of us ordered the lychee gin. It was more bitter than I was expecting but refreshing nonetheless. Service was attentive and they changed our plates/ chopsticks halfway through.It was a great experience and definitely recommend this restaurant to all ☺️
