I purchased a product - ceramic cups from your Westfield store last week. I explained to your employee (manager) that I required them to be packed very carefully as I would have to travel back to Melbourne and place items in a suit case. When I arrived and unpacked my purchase one cup was broken. This was bcause the manager wrapped a thin tissue paper around the cups followed by wrapping the exterior with bubble wrap. So difficult to see how the inside was packed. Basically all 4 cups were pressed together with only I layer of tissue paper. So once any movement occurred the cups would collide. I called the store to see whether in good faith they would replace the cup - having spent over $250.00 at the shop in the first place I was told ... ' sorry not out problem' and when asked if I could speak to the manager (who conveniently was in a meeting and who so badly wrapped the parcel) - three days later I'm still waiting for a call. A friend decided to plead my case in person paying a visit to the same store but again was told ... 'Not our responsibility' ... whereby my friend purchased another mug for me. You should be ashamed for taking this money. We later visited Papaya in the same shopping centre and experienced everything we did not at Pond - greeted with a smile, information eagerly and professionally provided and treated like a valued customer. I know where I will shop next time. Good luck to any one wishing to have any after service care by this company who will eagerly take your money but will give back little else. Disgraceful service and you have now lost 2 customers.
