The Waiting Room
Birthday celebration with wife. A couple of hours of food and Champagne pleasure. Situated near the entrance of Crown Hotel, you could watch a great range of people go by. Endless Champagne option was well worth it, topped up in timely and frequent nature. Hot and cold savouries yummy and full of flavour, delicately presented. Great scones, petite but great. Sweets selection a tad too sweet. Maybe should have had some of the sweets earlier. Still worth it. Next stop the Conservatory if we can save the pocket money!

The Waiting Room
We had a wonderful experience with our high tea on a very cold Saturday. The service from all the staff was above our expectations. Catering for our dietary requirements we felt was above and beyond and they made us feel so special for a birthday celebration. Couldn’t recommend this place more for a special occasion.If you are sitting on a table that’s more in the lobby part of the restaurant it can get a little cold with the lobby doors opening and closing but otherwise an amazing venue.

The Waiting Room is opposite Crown Towers Lobby. We were lucky to receive complimentary drinks cards, and I’m glad the staff at crown towers did. The menu is simple but delicious, especially their crab tacos crunchy and tasty. Their club sandwich is a significant portion, and every bite was perfectly layered with flavours. I’m glad I purchased my birthday cake. It was beautifully presented and a light cake to eat. Not sweet, just perfect!Friendly staff, especially Dianna, who served us on the night and was prompt with our orders.Dianna has excellent customer service and is helpful with what food to recommend to try. The place is elegant and has a great ambience. You can bring children here and be pram friendly. They also have high chairs.I love their drinks selections and can pair them with their food menu. I highly recommend this place.

The Waiting Room
I came here with a girlfriend for the ‘Parisian High Tea’ and it was absolutely wonderful. We paid $79 for unlimited coffee/tea and a delicious assortment of treats. We had ‘Flo’ as our waiter and his service was second to none. Very friendly, accomodating to dietary requirements and was always checking in on us to see if we needed anything. I will definitely be back for another High Tea. Thanks Flo!

The Waiting Room
Just wanted to say thank you to Adam and his team at the waiting room. It was my dad and brother’s birthday and they made the cake we purchased extra special. Adam’s team was friendly, helpful and patient especially with taking our family photos. We really appreciate it and will no doubt be returning for more delicious cakes and drinks.

We really enjoyed the Hendricks high tea today. Took our 5yo with us and the staff were very accommodating and friendly towards him. For the child option, they swapped out the gin infused items for non-alcoholic items. Everything was delicious.

Wonderful and affordable high tea. Balanced items of food between sweet and savory. Staff attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere in Crown. Definitely a great high tea experience and worth trying.

What an amazing experience and worth every penny! Located in the Crown Hotel lobby. Parking on a Sunday was $7 (off Kings Way) but a 10 min walk to the other side (super easy, just ask staff for directions).High Tea was delicious and the staff were attentive. We had the champagne package with a non-drinker (it would have been nice if the soft drink was included). There were many many choices of delicacies - sweet and savouries, and they were very accommodating to dietary requirements even when we forgot when booking. It couldn’t be faulted…I highly recommend! Thank you

I had their Hendrick's High Tea, it has a good range of savoury, sweet, hot and cold petite bites. Food was lovely. The atmosphere was relaxing. We were served by a lovely staff named Diana. It was a good experience.
