I’m not the most knowledgeable when it comes to makeup, so I was very grateful to receive incredible assistance from Kim. I had purchased a couple of things earlier in the week from a different store that ended up being the wrong shade & formula for me. Kim was amazing and so helpful at finding me a new shade to actually match my face and also recommended a different product compared to one of the things I had already purchased. Unfortunately everywhere was out of stock, but she still sold me and I will be patiently waiting for it to come back in. Thanks so much Kim and Mecca at Burnside Village!

Meh. Staff are unfriendly and unhelpful, especially if you go in without makeup on. I went to the store and had to approach an employee to ask her for help to colour match etc.. however once I did she was very helpful and knowledgeable. They are very busy as well. At other stores like in Myer (eg Mac/Benefit), you get a face full of makeup if purchasing a foundation to colour match and make sure you like the look and feel of it. Here you are given a swatch of 3 shades on your face and then they are removed after. Great range of products, however I will not be returning as I can go to Myer and get approached immediately and much better service, the same product as well as a face of makeup.

In my desperate search for a dark blue mascara, I visited Mecca for the first time last week. Not only did I find a beautiful mascara that doubles as a lash conditioner (very pricey, but worth it), I discovered a range of brands not found in the average pharmacy or department store. And the staff were very polite and attentive.

Staff need to up their game here. I went in on the weekend with lots of money to spend and no one wanted to sell me anything, they just stood behind the counter. So disappointing because the cosmetics are quite good - overpriced but good.

The girls in here really know there stuff here. Women walk in looking good but walk out looking incredible. Amazing what the best makeup, applied by awesome makeup artists, can do to transform a person.I see it every day.
