Axedale Skatepark

Definitely not a skatepark as listed on Google Maps. The sign says it is a BMX Park, and for good reason. It has a 5ft quarterpipe at one end, a hump with side ledge in the middle and that leads to...nothing...just grass. If they had only put another quarter or an embankment at the other end they could have legitimately called it a skatepark. The quarterpipe can only be used as a drop-in for the hump, but that gives you enough speed to clear it like a launch ramp. The flat bar and curved rail on the sides are basically unusable because the run-ups aren't straight enough. One more ramp would have made this a fun little spot. If all that wasn't enough to make you think twice about skating it, then the sign should seal the deal.
