Delicious Tofish!! Haven't tried it before but it's so good for a vegan fish option! All salads dressings and sauces are vegan too.. the Tofish came with a delicious tartare. Yummy!A little pricey but worth it. Chips good too!The fish was so good as well, nice light batter and fresh, great taste- I got Hoki and highly recommend!

Waited close to an hour for our meal and there were only 3 other people dining. The bao buns were dry with minimal filling. The whiting size portions were around the same size as a prawn cutlet and the garden salad was pathetic with no dressing. Southern style chicken burger was nice and hot chips were good. Very average food and service. Won't be back!

First time visit today and super impressed. I ordered the fish burger (Hoke) with a side of chips, the fish was a generous in size. The batter was very tasty as well with a fantastic crunch. The fish was cooked to perfection, neither over cooked nor undercooked. It flaked well and held its juiciness without turning to mush under the batter. Will have to visit there again soon to get photos next time. From what I've heard from others, the rest of their menu items are absolute top notch as well.Service was polite without being over the top.Highly recommend!

Without a doubt the best fish and chips I’ve had on the Gold Coast.Who knew there was such a thing as keto fish and chips ?!Craft beer selection was awesome.Not your average fish and chip shop that’s for sure !Friendly service and good vibes, I would 100% recommend and we will be back.

Hey when to The Jolly Roger Fish and Chips thinking it would be great instead we got OLD OIL chips, fish that was so soggy and dripping oil as you can see in the photos. Very unhappy after spending $75!! Won't suggest this to anyone

The Jolly Roger is fantastic! Food is fresh and tasty, with plenty of healthy options as well. Plenty of beers and cider to choose from, but probably the best part being a friendly local vibe. The Southern Fried Chicken Burger was a stand-out, get on it!

The customer service here is outstanding, and my grilled fish burger was perfect. Very happy indeed. I was so pleased with the friendliness of the staff also. I am very impressed and will be back again soon

I am not sure if it is the cultural difference or something else, but everytime I walk into a fish and chips restaurant I walk out really disappointed. The food is just not good. The fries are mealy and the fish tastes like nothing but deep fried bread crumbs. Also the price doesn't add up. How can you justify this pricing if there is a Chinese and Japanese restaurant next door which actually sell real meals for less money. I just needed a reminder to not walk into a fish and chips restaurant anymore I think.I'm sorry, maybe if it is your thing go for it. But I would highly suggest to do some market research so your dishes can be a bit more colour- and flavourful.The service was very friendly though, and the reason I walked in here and not in the Chinese or Japanes was because the interior looked cosy and warm. But lots of improvement is possible.

Went to try at this place after google tells me that it's got very good fish and chips. So disappointed. Ordered beer battered but it wasn't crispy. More of soggy and tasteless. Ordered scallops and so looking forward to it but when we went home, there weren't any scallops!!! What a rip off! So so disappointed with this place.

Service was great, food was great (battered whiting, chips and Asian noodle slaw). Very good value for money too.
