The Hub Family Medical Centre

I have been receiving treatment at this practice for about three years. As an aged pensioner, I have been bulk billed for all my consultations but following my most recent (short) visit on February 14 the receptionist demanded a fee of $66.30 because the doctors have decided to stop bulk billing due to their on-going dispute with Medicare. Can the GP's justify this increase when, if you are suffering from Covid you can't get to see them. I can't remember how long ago since I had a stethoscope used on me and they very rarely take your blood pressure which used to be normal practice for seniors. I had Covid early in the new year and had to go to the Govt. funded respiratory clinic at Morayfield, this was after I had a telehealth consultation with my regular GP who just told me that I would be ok". After payment of the abovementioned figure

Lovely receptionist greeted us and allowed me to talk through my problem with my son's ankle. Understood that it would be a quick visit to request x-rays and could slip in a quick appointment for us. Wonderful, caring Doctor response also. Thank you team.

Great Doctors, staff are very friendly and efficient. My wife and I go to the Hub Family Medical Center and have done so for over 7 years.

Receptionist’s are quite rude. They have very little PR skills, and are very unhelpful! They should have kept the old receptionist’s they were wonderful and friendly.

I have been going to the Hub Medical Centre for some time now,DR. Sheri looks after me very well, the receptionists are all nice as well, as are the nurses , very well run surgery. Thank you all. Evelyn.

Staff at the front counter always cheerful, smiling and helpful. They are the patient's first and last contact with The Hub Family Medical Centre which is one of the reasons why I keep going back. The other reason I keep going back is the master Physiotherapist Mr Ehab Kirakos who honestly has to be best I've ever seen and has a very holistic and innovative approach to solving your issues.

Great friendly surgery. Although are never on time or close too it, I am happy to wait. Good Drs are hard to find. The personal touch to patients go a long way.

Booked a same day appointment after just moving to the area, and finding our my regular GP had moved practices. I saw Dr Suresh Khirwadkar, and couldn’t recommend him enough. I was treated with such empathy, understanding and respect.

My visit was so good Shaun (Podiatrist) makes you feel comfortable and always has a smile. Whenever I come to the Hub I have never had a need to say I don't want to go back. Keep up the good work all and I will see you all next week
