Horderns Beach

Love this beach as it's a more quieter than the beaches around Bundeena.

Quite simply a stunning beach, one of southern Sydney's coastal treasures! A great beach for kids as although there are waves, they are not overwhelming for the little ones at all. The area as a whole had a very family friendly atmosphere and if you can get a car park on hordens lane or Liverpool street you are pretty much at the entrance to the beach. Parking does get pretty difficult but, for some context here, we went on a perfect summer's day, and on a Sunday, and at ten we still parked very close to the action. At eleven though you'd be walking a decent distance. If you want to be closer to cafes/food Bundeena beach itself is better for you though.

Great little beach, very secluded. Perfect evening walk, with city haze in the distance.

One of my favourite beaches, just beautiful. Also a great start to a walk through the National Park.

Beautiful beach, 30 Minutes from the Sutherland Shire. It’s very quiet and peaceful. Great for a swim, a picnic or a walk. Kid friendly with toilet facilities etc

Great little beach in the Royal National Park area. If you’re looking to do something for half a day that’s not a bush hike…you can head down to Bundeena, walk on the beach with your dogs and then grab something at the cafe afterwards. Bundeena itself and the beach is VERY popular, so you’ve really got to time it in the morning or go in the winter season if you’re hoping to easily find parking and have a bit of space from other people…this is the only reason it’s not 5 stars. Too popular for its own good but still worth a visit for those who’ve never been or those not sure what to do on a day off

It's a small cozy beach , but the sand is full off little sharp oyster shells in the water's edge.There are a few shops, cafes, an ice cream place, and restaurants, very lovely little peace of Australia.

Kids Friendly. Plenty of things to do in Bundeena. There is also a park nearby. Easy access to the beach because there is a ramp going down. There is a coffee shop nearby There is a lot of take away shops. Will definitely comeback here with my family. We enjoyed the Visit ♡♡♡

Simply stunning. Hard to believe is only an hour from downtown Sydney, but feels a world away. Locals are lovely and dog friendly too.

A good family beach. Close to facilities. Not too many waves. Shops close by. Easy parking and a ferry. Lovely spot for a day out with the family.
