We came as a group for Mother's Day and had a fantastic lunch! Very friendly service, lovely restaurant, and the food was delicious - we got the banquet, it was a lot of food and really great quality!

Best Thai food in Hornsby!! Delicious food, huge servings (reasonable price) & lovely atmosphere. Very spacious great for big gatherings.Only comment is service can be improved, the waiters are very slow. We had to try and get their attention a few times before they attended.Otherwise will be back for the food. Spicy dishes are nice and hot, highly recommend!

My second time here, and food is as good as it was a few years ago, at my first visit. Spacious restaurant- entrance is a doorway to stairs leading up to the restaurant. Had a gathering of over 20 people for lunch. Food was amazing- especially the chicken wings, pork belly, pad see ew, and fried barramundi. Staff were all very courteous and accommodating, and no cakeage charged for cake after lunch. Highly recommend this place for a casual lunch, and also for lunch gatherings.

Really big spacious area so would be good for large groups. Very quiet on a Monday night when we went. Food portions were small for the price, and wasn’t amazing - tasted a bit like it was just reheated.

This was our first time to Absolute Thai on William Street and we enjoyed it.Upon entering the restaurant, we noticed it was a lot bigger than we expected, with cute triangular Thai cushions as a seating option along the windows. Plenty of natural light filled the restaurant.For entrees, we shared the Mixed Entree Platter. It was nicely presented and looked very appetising.There were 2 x chicken skewers, a curry puff, a spring roll and money bag with a side of dips and sauces. Everything was delicious although the money bag was my favourite. This is a great way to sample some starters if you’re unsure what to order as a starter. I felt this was very fairly priced and the serve was generous.It was off to a very positive start!For mains, we shared the Lamb Shank Massaman Curry and a Prawn Pad Thai with a side of rice for the curry.The serving sizes for the curry and Pad Thai were very generous and fairly priced. We had leftover curry and Pad Thai to take home as we weren’t feeling too hungry on the evening.The curry was almost perfect as the mash potato lacked a bit of flavour and the curry sauce was a little watered down and could have been a bit more flavoursome.I really enjoyed the Pad Thai though. Nothing to fault there.The service was attentive and our orders came reasonably quickly.The restaurant started to fill up more after we arrived which was a great sign.I think Absolute Thai is easily a neighbourhood gem for this quiet area in Hornsby.It’s even more worthwhile with 30% off via TheFork!

Takeaway early Sunday night ie. not busy. Food ready by time promised, nice and hot. Meals were ok with one noticeable exception..the beef was like old shoe leather, tough and chewy. There are better options around.

Pretty Average FoodService with attitude!Lunch there, service staff were cold and unhelpful!MealsPad Thai too salty - maybe MSG ?Crispy Pork - good - but not special for the price - not great.On departure more sour service- really must be better choices in the neighbourhood...

Booked on a Sat night for dinner. Ordered sizzling lamb and it came out with no sizzle and luke warm at best. My friend ordered sizzling beef and same experience. My husband ordered satay chicken and it was luke warm with raw vegetables. We were constantly reminded that they were closing early as it was quiet. We did decide to order dessert - big mistake! One deep fried scoop of vanilla ice cream with half a strawberry served on a saucer was $12.90. And the batter was not even cooked properly. Very disappointed and will never go back to the William St one or recommend to friends.

Always great food and fast friendly service. The larger space can handle large groups. The kitchen is downstairs and the food comes up via a 'dumb waiter '. Fully licenced and BYO.
