Good amount of room. It's a little creepy at night. Shame NSW Gov puts up signs saying no camping. It makes it really awkward if you desperately need some rnr on a long drive

A covenient location for rest stop on the highway. Vey basic. The toilets were reasonably clean, plenty of toilet paper and the door locked OK. There is only cold water in the wash sink. The surrounding area has picnic tables with seating and rubbish bins. A good place to get out, stretch your legs and have a break during your travels driving up north. It's not within view of the highway so I wouldn't feel so safe stopping here after sundown.

Good pit stop, off the highway and a bit hidden. Small playground which is good for the kids to stretch their legs. Lights come on for the toilets at night so that is good.

Hard to find way in and out, poor mobile reception, locks don't work on toilet doors. Very little ramp to get back onto the hwy and get up to speed.

What can one say about Wang Wauk? As far as rest stops go, it truly quantifies the essentially Australian coastal road trip experience. There are four cubicles, only which one of was available. This is not because the lock were broken, but indeed, because of all the rest stops that exist between tea gardens and Bulladelah, this only one worth dropping the kids off at. If you know what I mean.As for entertainment, the sensory outdoor sensory recreational activity area provides all your needs and more. It has a delightful balance beam, which odd angles and rustic aesthetic encourage thought provoking discussion. You also question the meaning of life after witnessing the cumulative life cycle of the cicada. It is truly an existential experience. There is also two park benches with adequate seating for 12 with shade. It’s fantastic colourbond steel awning painted in a vintage historic green ensure that you blend with your peaceful surroundings. Here, you are one with nature, while you answer the call of nature. In short, Wang Wauk is only place for me.Only giving 4 stars because it’s called Wang Wauk.

Always a great rest area to stop at.This one could do with some lined parking spots and has the potential to have a slip lane in and out.Could also be cleaned an maintained a bit more regularly.

Lots of shade, kids playground, & clean toilets. Two tables with shade above them plus 3 long tables under a large awning. Plenty of parking for both cars, caravans & trucks.
