A very nice venue for a good meal. The old hotel was decorated well, and kept with the heritage of the building. There was a nice selection of meals on the menu, which were all quick to arrive and tasted pretty good too. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only real disappointments were that the meals were quite expensive, and the smokers were literally right outside the window, so we had whiffs of smoke every time the wind blew. However, the meal was nice and enjoyable, and I'd be happy to come back again.

Lunch at the Grandview in Bowen on a Friday! 10/10. Spatchcock on a bed of Macadamia and Mango Salad, was delightful. Kitchen and Bar staff were knowledgeable, helpful and so friendly!

Grandeur of an old pub restored with a combination of the old and new. Great food, nice outdoor and indoor eating, entertainment, and drinking areas. Gambling facilities available

Its a lovely hotel, picturesque and historic. Be sure to look at the historic plaques on the walls of the bar, really interesting. There is lots of information about eh filming of Baz Luhrman's Australia which use the Pub as a set. We had dinner in the bistro out the back of the pub. The food was ok, its fairly typical pub food, but the environment is great fun, the staff are friendly and its a great place to sit and hang out!.

One of the best pubs I went in Australia. Food is delicious. Service is quick and efficent. Toilets clean and tidy. Great spaces in and out. Recommended in every aspects.

This is a great old pub in the best location in Bowen. I rank it highly in the category of a pub.Upmarket menu with lots of variation. So good we went twice!Their Pie was the clear winner. It's on my '4 P' diet,Pie,Pies, Potato & Pinot for dinner. Good value and nice staff.
