Loved the pie, it was really yummy. It was bloody hot, and I was eating while driving, was too nice to wait, so burnt my mouth and made a mess. But it was worth it.

This place is now officially awesome. After chaning hands a couple of times, we now have new owners that are doing everything right. Good food and service. Who would have thought? It's be nice to get some more opening hours once Covid lifts. My only wish - open until 7:30 on Saturday nights so that we don't have to eat fish and chips with the pensioners!

Dropped in there today for a quick meal.Plenty of parking outside and also a number of table and chairs for dining.Well staffed store and a variety of fresh food available as well as beverages.No public toilets, wheel chair accessible.Located near a EV Charging station.Rubbish bins and water available.Would come there again when in the area.

The new owners are doing it right.Great selection of food, hot and cold.It would be hard to find a better Burger with the lot or fish and chips.Friendly and clean, great asset for Newstead.Thank you

Great little country town milk bar. Does some hot food (take away and sit). Also lovely cold thick shakes and milk shakes (great in summer). Excellent, and I mean excellent, egg & bacon toasties and coffee. Toasted perfectly. They will hit the spot on a road trip. Indoor and outdoor (if you have your hound with you) seating. Plus usual milk bar items available.

Hands down one of the best bacon and egg rolls I've had in a looooong time. All done fresh on the grill. Double egg, double bacon (bacon cooked perfectly) I added cheese and grillestomato for the ultimate road feast. Friendly, efficient service with a smile. Will be my new stop off on my Balla / Bgo run from now on!
