Simple Moving

Do not do business with them.They have lost and damaged items and walls . And took about a week to respond to my email. With the worst attitude ever.Upon review of the bill I was overcharged as well !!Also note that Debbie has provided good service everytime I had to deal with her.

The initial communication put forward a good impression.The movers turned up early without advance warning. They weren't careful with my belongings. And they forgot to load legs for one of my tables. When I mentioned this, they asked if I had a car so that I can move it myself.During the transport they didn't mention the route they were taking, and charged me toll. They didn't need to take a toll route to reach my destination with their truck.They were also unable to quote final hours, so there was no estimate on costs beforehand.At the destination they were eager to finish early, so they guesstimated the finish time and pressured me to agree to it. During the unpack, they also damaged some of my belongings. When I tried to contact the head office, their numbers were disconnected. So there will be no recovery for me.

We got two guys to help us move house. One man kindly did an amazing job whilst the other man sat in the truck and watched my mum, my brother the other employee and myself carry all the heavy furniture into the truck. He then expected us to pay him $1200 before he got our dining table and couch out the truck.After this horrible experience the ladies that are supposedly owners of this company we’re no help at all (Emily)DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

This company is not a company who does removals by themselves. They just sub contract to others and hence depend on others. No responsibility. They promised me to remove my stuff on Sunday n wanted to send people on Sunday at 2pm. Around 5 pm some one called and said it will get late due to some problem and around 7pm informed that they can not do it. I had to face lots of problems because my settlement was just 2 days after. It's a hopeless company. Better to give to a real mover who takes responsibility by themselves and not depend on third parties.

DONT even deserve one star. HORRIFIC experience. Was lied to from the start. Turned up late, disrespectful. Used intimidation tactics with me as I was a woman on my own. Refused to take the last of my goods off truck.I was moving boxes and items myself to get things done.I had 2 removalists however one sat in the truck the entire time until the end.I wanted to speak to a manager about the cost and they told me to pay and complain later what do I expect?! They are human and hadn’t had a break all day - whilst I understand that I made it clear in the booking due to lift bookings the timeframes we were working to and requirements. DO NOT USE THIS PATHETIC DISGUSTING COMPANY!!!!!!

Was going write a review of my experience, but would only be repeating everything in all of the reviews below! (Reviews that were unfortunately not there when I booked!)I moved 5 months ago, was intimidated into making payment 45min before they finished with a threat of them taking the 4 items not yet unloaded back to their warehouse. Was Overcharged, they damaged my furniture, tried to deny it, stopped responding to my emails and calls to resolve…Ended up lodging a dispute with my credit card company for ‘misleading service’ and they were able to get the funds back from them so I could replace damaged furniture.I genuinely can’t believe a company like this exists! Don’t even consider booking through here.

We used Simple Moving a while ago and they arrived on time which was the only good thing that happened. The 2 men began taking the boxes down and asked us to help them carry boxes (I have a bad back so could not help, and my partner also didn’t want to carry them as we are paying the company to do this). They then asked us to move the mattress from the bedroom out to the elevator while they do other things. When we got to the new address they again asked us to help carry boxes after I had told them we could not help. When carrying boxes into our new apartment they started dropping the dirty boxes on our brand new TV unit, we told them “no, please don’t put boxes on the furniture the floor is the spot”, then 2-3 boxes later started dropping them on our brand new couch... They also dropped our dining table and put a dint in the side (we didn’t notice the dint until after they left and we had already paid). Would not recommend using this company.

I had a terrible experience with Simple Moving before they even turned up.I was called at the end of the 2 hour window they were meant to be here that they couldn't make it for our booking.They said we can re-book either later that night at 6pm or Sunday. We took the 6pm booking only to be told 5 minutes later that this wasn't available. This shows terrible communication betweenExtremely disappointing as we had taken a day off work to be there for when they arrived.There are much more reliable movers for the same price.

Extremely disappointed in this lot.Booking was fine and everything else was shocking.2 hours late to pick up my stuff, only took them 2 hours and then they arrived at my house they kept 3 items on the truck and asked me to pay for 3 hours.When i advised it had only been 2 and I wouldn't pay until I knew how long it took them to complete the job they threatened to not remove my items until I paid them.Rest assured after I was forced into paying them then they unloaded in 10 minutes and bailed.The owner did not care when I called and blamed me for getting my facts wrong.Beware: Don't use this lot guys, go with anyone else.
