Reborn Thai Massage

Two days ago I booked an hour long deep tissue massage. I was very dissatisfied with it as the therapist seemed to have little idea of the structure of the body and it’s muscles and appeared to have had little or no training. I gave that massage a score of 2 out of 5.After I posted my comments here, I received a message from the owner who explained that the person who had massaged me was not a usual staff member— she had filled in for people on leave. The owner apologised for my experience and offered me a free massage so I could give Reborn Thai another chance.Today I had a massage from one of their experienced regular staff. It was absolutely fantastic. A score of 10/10! Thanks Reborn Thai - I’ll be back!

My massage therapist was amazing. Could tell she knew her stuff. Really helped to loosen up my shoulders and neck. I took down her name to ask for her again.The only downside was the fact that they had a 10% off for paying cash promotion which I would have taken advantage of had I been informed of this at the time of booking instead of seeing the little sign upon arrival and not having the cash on me.

A very attentive massage in a relaxing and peaceful setting. Not rushed and very nice amenities. Great teas available.

Asked for a relaxation massage, told the therapist 3 time she was hurting me. Today I have burses from her and feel like I have wip lash. I will never return or refer.

Been coming for years and always very satisfied. Even more so tonight when my massage therapist used a cool/heat balm on my neck which is exactly what I needed. Hit all the pressure points. Feeling 10/10.

While the foot massage was good.The body massage has left me in tears, I had to ask the therapist to stop immediately due to the aggressive elbow movement that i asked to stop 3 times, my shoulder is now bruised and aching. My lower back was a point of focus and was not touched. I voiced 7times throughout the massage to try address the issue.Absolutely awful experience. I am so sad to have moved back to Canberra to find my favourite monthly oasis has such low standards.Instead of trying to fix the treatment w a complimentary massage I was charge 1hr of my 2hr treatment.I will not be recommending any further. So much for a relaxing massage :(**Review edited.The owner disclosed a client has left in an ambulance due to shoulder dislocation. I visited the walkin clinic later that night and was told dislocation is likely, strapped my shoulder and insisted on rest whilst in a sling. There was evident bruising afterwards.No resolution was made and I never received a refund.I ended the phone call due to consistently being undermined, gaslighted and given no empathy/compassion surrounding the situation.

My lovely Mum bought me a voucher here for a 1h remedial oil massage, and it was absolutely divine. The staff are very kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. I’d never had a massage before this, but I definitely needed this. I will be back. ❤️
