I have been a patient of Dr. Aden Tran for well over ten years.I recently had Invisalign to straighten my teeth and then a series of crowns and veneers to improve my smile.Owing to Aden’s superior dental skills combined with his finely tuned aesthetic sense I have a result that I am delighted with. The bonus has always been that Aden is gentle and explains every procedure in detail-there are no surprises!This coupled with the fact that Aden has a warm, engaging and reassuring personality which inspires you with confidence makes him a standout!I cannot speak highly enough of him and his staff.

I am usually terrified of dentists after a great many (pricey) bad experiences all over the world.I feel a sense of relief and comfort knowing that I have found two people who are caring and compassionate. I have been going to Mosman Fine Dental for bi annual check ups and hygiene appointments for over 3 years now. The experience from the moment you walk in is calming and welcoming. The receptionists are always kind and patient and take the time to connect with you on a personal level. The dentists and hygienists are wonderful and the practise is always spotless.I recently had a fibroma (small bump in my Lower lip) surgically removed by Dr Aden Tran. I was extremely anxious about the procedure and had put it off for 3 years! Dr Aden was extremely informative, answered all my questions and set my expectations. The procedure was a lot less painful than I thought and I think that comes down to the fact that I knew exactly what to expect. My recovery was smooth sailing (I was able to talk and eat normally within the first 24 hours) I just had by post op check in and biopsy results and only wish I had attended to this much sooner! Had a check-up and x-rays with Dr AJ, very professional and explained the different procedures/equipment being used each time. Very modern practice with a TV to watch on the ceiling while undergoing the checkup which was a surprise!Receptionist polite and helpful and put a film on for children to watch while they waited as well.Will continue to be my dentist going forward.

Not being one to write reviews, this one I feel necessary.I have been seeing Dr Andrew Prideaux as a patient for many years. He has always afforded me the best professional care.Treatment options are always discussed,diagnosis always defined and together we appropriate a suitable treatment plan.The final decision being left up to me.Knowledge and skill are very important requisites for a dentist.Andrew has both.Along with the supporting staff, I have always been treated with the utmost care and compassion.I highly recommend MFD .

I have been a patient of Dr AJ Ambikairajah for over 5 years now. After having so much anxiety around going to the dentist for so many years, it was so important I found a dentist who was able to calm my nerves, and ensure a stress free consultation. Dr AJ does just that! He provides a comprehensive and warm atmosphere and makes going to the dentist a really enjoyable experience! Dr AJ can address many areas and I would recommend Dr AJ to anyone for any and all dental procedures!

I attended the practice in January 2020. I saw Dr Andrew Prideaux for a routine check. The service appeared to be professional and friendly on the surface. However, I have never had any major work done on my teeth. I have never needed to nor has it been recommended by other dentists I have used. My previous and subsequent dentists are of the opinion that my teeth do not need any maintenance work done on them; they are good and strong. However, Prideaux recommended some work costing roughly about 1 000 AUD (estimate) that in his opinion I should get done on the teeth. I prefer to get as little work done on my teeth as possible unless it's necessary for the health and well being of the teeth. I found the suggested treatment plan by Mosman Fine Dental to be over the top and a waste of money. My service was in my opinion an over-service. Also, I indicated at the appointment that I had already got my teeth x-rayed for that year, however Prideaux then utilised a much more advance x-ray (or scan) (at a more advanced cost"). Thank goodness I got two other opinions from a Sydney and South African dentist (the latter dentist I have used for annual routine checks for a number of years). Both have opined that the work is not necessary for the health of my teeth. I won't be going back to MFD."

I have recently become a new patient of Dr Andrew Prideaux following a referral from my previous dentist who was retiring.I am not a very relaxed patient having had cat’s whiskers, teeth removed, braces and plates, all when I was a young teenager and all without any injections.I explained my fear to Andrew and he could not have been more respectful or kind. He took time and told me exactly what he was going to do and I had tests done that I have never had before. His thoroughness and professionalism was more than a comfort.Andrew explained that I had pretty good teeth but there were a few things that needed to be fixed in time and only when I felt comfortable. He went through the entire processes thoroughly.He even had me laughing at the end. I felt very incredibly well looked after and not feeling like an idiot because of my fears.I also found his costs extremely reasonable and he was upfront with all future work costs as well.Really impressive as a professional, as was his team – from his dental nurse to his delightful team on reception and administration. They are very thorough and caring and all done with a kind caring smile.Couldn’t recommend him highly enough.Kind regardsNicole Duncan
