Baan Thai Massage and Remedial Therapy

Being an athlete I prefer strong massages. The massage was too soft for my liking despite asking for a firmer massage a few times. I wasn't excited about them reusing towels for multiple clients, the towel was very heavy due to being soaked in oil and smelt stale. If you like strong massages, possibly not worth the high price.

Update - 20/7/19:(changed rating to 4 stars):Served by a new therapist Yumi. One of the best Thai massages I've had, felt very relaxed. Very welcoming and polite. However just like the earlier experience, shame they still need to work on their disturbance policy & manners.1) Had another staff barge in without knocking and stuck their head in to ask something and with no apologies for the interruption from either of them.2) The therapist answered the cordless phone and continued talking to a customer on the phone at the same time she was still massaging.Original Post:The massage itself was good and friendly staff. Although they should work on their professionalism & phone manners. Leaving the door open in the middle of the massage with a bright light ON outside to talk to someone was a bit uncomfortable, staff could show more discretion.Also, I'd suggest to look elsewhere if you're looking for a genuine massage in short notice.I've never been able to book an appointment on short notice. As someone always pressed for time due to family commitments and shift work, its impossible for me to give a few hours or a day's notice. Moreover it's generally after a game of cricket or squash when I decide to book a massage and they can't provide. And they cut you off after they say they don't have an appointment.

Great knowledge professionals who always try their best. I generally have a good experience but this time around they put me in a couples room and 45 mins into my massage, the girls started talking loudly and planned to put another customer on the second table. It made my experience less relaxing. My masseuse did apologies at the end but still would have been nice not to be disturbed.

This place is a hidden gem. I have had many traditional Thai massages in Thailand and this place took me straight back to Thailand. My booking was with Minty and she used the perfect amount of pressure as I prefer firmer massages.. Professional and friendly service. Highly recommned and will be back!

Love this place, very cosy and masseuse has magic hands, I get the remedial and reflexology and enjoy both often as Minty knows what she is doing and caters to what you need on the day and what she feels will benefit you if any issues you may have.

I've been to Baan Thai Massage multiple times for Thai Massages and it's because the massages there are great and the staff are fantastic!They really try and help you with any problem areas (for me it was mainly sore shoulders) and I always leave feeling lighter and more relaxed. I highly recommend this place.

Although the entrance is unassuming, the owner's pictures of the inside are accurate: it's relaxing and as comfortable as you'd want for a good massage.We realised that the sound proofing to the room wasn't incredible, as there was a conversation going on the other side of the wall for the entire hour which I could easily make out, but the background music and the massage itself helped to take focus away from it.Reasonable prices; great hands; complementary post-massage tea on exit. This place deserves a return visit.

Fantastic!Natcha is amazing! I had a full body oil massage for an hour and drifted into sleep many times in between.. lots of stretching ( I asked for a Swedish and Thai massage and it was one of best massages in Brisbane) excellent pressure, courteous, kind staff and excellent in terms of price.. definitely making this a regular!
