Hotel Bellinzona

We stayed here for the Christmas period and it was lovely. Love the decor and the colour of the place. Rooms were nice but the shower was disappointing as the water pressure was low.The person at the front desk was helpful and wore a super man tie which my daughter thought he was a superhero.My 4 year old thought it was the best and very much enjoyed her stay. She enjoyed the warm pool, the whole building and the bed. She asked if we could get the same bed. She’s decided you deserve 5 stars.

We stayed overnight at the hotel the week prior to Christmas and had a beautiful stay. From the moment we arrived Daryl welcomed us warmly and personally showed us into our room and showed us where everything could be found. We have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never experienced this type of personal service by any concierge. Exceptional customer service! the room was very comfortable and large (we had 2 x queen beds) the pool was amazing. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel's restaurant and the food was really lovely. the ambience is beautiful and we felt totally relaxed sitting outside their manicured gardens. I highly recommend a stay here we will definitely be back!

Stayed here for our 10 year anniversary with my wife. First night we could hear people running up and down from the room above us, on top of that the next morning there fire alarm went off and we were told there is nothing to worry about. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, which was unfortunate because my wife was pregnant and didnt get much sleep.The room smelt extremely musty.We decided to check out a night early and explained all this to there front desk. We spoke to Darren, who made it very clear that he understood what was happening but couldnt do anything. His attitude and facial expressions made it very clear he didnt care.Do yourself a favour and dont stay here.

I followed this hotel on Instagram for some time and happened to be passing through Victoria so jumped at the opportunity to stay with my husband. The hotel is as stunning as the pictures with service to match. Darren’s customer service was excellent. Incredibly attentive showing us all of the features of the room. The pool and spa in the bathhouse were perfect. The views from deck at afternoon drinks were as spectacular as the food from The Virgin. Most importantly the bed was a dream. By far one of my favourite stays in the entire country.

We were really excited to visit hotel Bellinzona for a birthday weekend away. Unfortunately left feeling really disappointed. We stayed in one of the suite rooms and the king bed was quite uncomfortable, the shower water pressure was unpleasantly low, there were a group of about 10 people down the corridor who came in intoxicated in the middle of the night who woke us. We found we could hear everything going on in the room next to us not to mention the hallway. For what it cost for us to stay here I don’t think it was worth it.

As frequent patrons of this hotel, my expectations were high, but unfortunately, this visit fell short in several aspects.One of the primary issues we encountered was the room allocation. We had specifically requested a particular room for our birthday celebration, as it was intended to be a special getaway. Despite our explicit request, we were not accommodated accordingly. The evening receptionist informed us that the hotel was fully booked, leaving us without the room we had eagerly anticipated. Given the significance of the occasion, this added to our disappointment.However, I would like to acknowledge the evening staff at the restaurant, who made our initial issue of the room allocation more bearable. They went over and above, noting the birthday request and providing a complimentary sparkling wine. Their efforts to make the situation right were appreciated, and they demonstrated a level of care that stood out.Furthermore, our breakfast experience compounded our dissatisfaction. Although we arrived promptly as the first guests at the breakfast area, it took an excruciatingly long time for our meals to be served. To our surprise, subsequent orders were delivered before ours. Seeking an explanation for the delay, I approached the waitress on duty, only to be met with a rude and dismissive response. This disappointing interaction occurred during a critical moment where the staff had an opportunity to resolve the situation and ensure a memorable and enjoyable celebration, but unfortunately, it was squandered.Subsequently, we visited the reception to request a later check-out due to the extended breakfast delay. However, we were made to wait an additional five minutes until a staff member finally emerged from the back. I had the pleasure of indulging in a luxury 2-course dinner at Hotel Bellinzona and I must say, I was blown away by the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming and professional.One of the standout features of the meal was the use of locally sourced produce, which made for a truly authentic culinary experience. The dishes were thoughtfully crafted and perfectly executed, showcasing the best the region has to offer. It was clear that the chef had put a lot of care and consideration into the menu, and the flavours were outstanding.The service was equally impressive, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that each of our guests felt comfortable and had everything they needed. The friendly and professional manner in which they provided service was a testament to the high level of attention to detail the team has in place.Organised as part of our tour group, all of our guests were raving about the meal and the overall culinary experience. They were impressed by the use of all local produce and the way that the dishes were presented. Excellent specialty coffee and meal at virgin kitchen cafe which is the hotel’s dining area. Staff were friendly and attentive.Place is never overly crowded and it’s abit of a gem in Daylesford

The grounds and gardens are beautiful, however if you choose here only stay on the highest floor, I had people above my room walking around it was really noisy, the floors really creek, sounds like they are just timber ceilings / floors. I asked to check out the next day and refund my second night but they declined as it wasn’t their policy. Won’t stay here again.
